Beautiful park! Well maintained and lots of fishing.

Very few sites first come first serve. Right next to the water extremely quiet. It takes a bit to get here because it’s removed from traffic and noise. Playground for kids, decent bathroom one shower. They have a tent sites and RV sites with hook ups. 22-25$

It is a nice, quiet and peaceful park. It is in serious need of updating. The playground is very old, the toddler swings are made of iron (hot in the summer) and have chipped paint. The playground is also very close to the water. The rowboats and paddleboats look worn out. Bathroom was clean. Great for RV and primitive camping if you want peace and quiet and good fishing. We will be back to check out the trails and possibly camp!

$13.50 for each tent, for each night.
Thank you for your help.😁
There a many many trails that no one seems to know about. They are marked by color. Way more trails than just the one around the lake. Just be mindful that they go all over the place and it’s easy to get lost. You’ll eventually make it back to the Grist Rd. But I’ve started out on a trail and ended up very far from where I started. It’s incredibly gorgeous out there tho.
The lake is stocked with bass, bluegill and catfish. I catch quite a few bass at this lake but they aren't what I would call quality fish. I'm guessing due to over population.
Yes you can as long as one is available
Yes.....but they have metal fire pits that they provide at each camp site for the fire.
No gift shop but in the office they have a few small items you can buy
$25/night for hookup campers and you can set up pop-up campers. There are 11 sites for campers with concrete slabs and full hookups as well as tent camping sites.
No the average depth is only about 8 ft. Plus the water is a dull merky color.
Yes
No specific area for dogs; but, the whole park is relaxed and plenty of places to go walk/hike.
Yes
Friends of Grist have horse trails cut in....but its daylight hours only
I believe there is a full time host/ranger living on site....but you would need to contact the park to make sure.
