If I can post without giving a star I would the patient case manager are the worst never able to reached and when they do want to make themselves available is to benefit them so that they can get the monthly check in call they sell dreams and hopes make promises to help your loved ones and never ever stick to there word the worst don’t ever put your loved one here do your research

My experience with VillageCareMax has not been good. I choose their MLTC program for my mother and with the few requests i have made getting results have been disastrous. They are slow with responding, make excuses for all their glitches with no results. My mother has been waiting now for 7 weeks for a Hearing Aid approval which they processed incorrectly and after many phone calls and proposed escalations this issue stiil hasn't been corrected to show the provider information. Meanwhile my mother is frustrated, struggling to hear impairing her quality of life! Donot sign your family member up here!!!

The customer service for this insurance company is repulsive. The wait time to connect to a representative is too long. I'm a provider who was trying to get an update on a authorization request. When I was able to connect to a representative, I asked for the update. The representative informed me that they limited information. He asked if I want to be transferred to the authorization utilization dept. I agreed. The representative transferred me. I went back on hold for about two min before the call dropped. I called back to get the same representative. I go through the same process once again to have the call drop again. I do NOT recommend this insurance company to ANYONE.
