Called and filed a claim, then Found the phone one hour later. Immediately called and cancelled and they still sent the new phone. They also turned off the old phone. I called them and they haven’t turned the old phone back on for 4 days and now say it could be 4-5 more. I already sent back the new phone but they say I have to follow the procedures when they send a phone, but they screwed up sending it even though I cancelled well before the phone was shipped. Terrible service and basically told me it doesn’t matter that I’m out of a business phone until they turn it back on.

I downloaded the "Tech PhD" app to see my Assurant policies and Terms and to file a claim. I'm not sure if it works for anything outside of cell phone insurance claims but it never hurts to check it out.
It could be he was very lazy and didn't wanna deal with any problems. Maybe it was his first time as manager.
