My mother was very ill when she came to SSH. The doctors and staff were so loving and careful with her. They treated her with the utmost respect and kindness, and even though, she wasn't aware of her surroundings on most days, they still made sure to tell her what they were doing to her or what meds they were administering. I would recommend this hospital to any of my family or friends! I gave SSH five stars, but I wish I could double that! Amazing place to rest and heal!

I worked here for almost 3 years and the nurses (well some of them) and the techs are great but administration ie CEO, CNO, Head of HR are horrible the CEO has never been in the medical world so can not help with anything. The CNO is a RN but you will never see him on the floor unless its to say something is being done wrong. The head of HR is racist and shows discrimination all the time to the black females employees. They won't let the techs bathe your loved ones with soap and water they make them used just cold wipes. Its a horrible place. I was only there that long for the love of the patients and some close friendship's with co workers. So while they are offering a lot of money right now its because your going to deal with a lot of messed up situations working there.

The staff are amazing! I have extensive wounds and they have done everything to heal me, they have patients with me and most importantly they have compassion and empathy!!! I highly recommend this hospital if you need long term care!!!!
