Great park, well maintained with lots to do for the kids. Close to town and the ice cream store. Even on a normal tide day there is plenty of beach to be creative. Lots of trees and shade..Camping lots are spaced with plenty of room.

Nice playground, great beach for tide pooling. Trails to hike. Little crabs, shells, heron, and other coastal recreation await. Plus a decent public bathroom.

Perfect park for a pic-nic on a sunny day. Tables are abundant along the beach and shoreline. Lots of drift wood.

A very calm and restful state park. During my visit, I found myself wanting to read a book by the beach and just kick back while watching the sun set 🌅!

Call and reserve your spot with what amenities you are looking for. Enjoy your visit. There are a number of parks.
Thanks for the information
The Park grounds are wayside and beautiful! The campground is just uphill on a bluff. Some sites are wooded entirely and some have views of the water. People come here from all over to enjoy this Campground.
If you are at the campground, use Helweg Rd to get to Birch Bay Rd. That will get you to the beach area. Otherwise, use Alderson Rd to get to Birch Bay Rd. There are plenty of access points to the beach from the parking lots throughout the park.
The park requires a WA Discover pass. $35 for a year or $10 for a single day pass.
Call (888)226-7688 this will give you all the answer to your questions
Primitive =$12. Standard=$27-37 Partial utility= $35.-45. Full utility = $40-50.00 this is on the wa state park website
No sewer there is a dump onsite at this time of the year only part of the park is open
The booth at the entrance has all reservations posted. They open at 1 pm till 9. If you take a picture of the notice, then go around to the sites.
Both, but the park fills up on weekends so reservations are handy.
They have pads up to 44 feet long. Shouldn't be a problem.
It is awesome camping there
yes they do. reservations are recommended, but not required
There is a primitive boat launch without a dock. Launch/retrieve when tides are at least 4-5 feet but be wary tides move fast in this shallow bay. Ive seen crabbing being done on a row boat, kayak, canoe, paddle board and even just wading. But bulk of crabs being harvested are from smaller boats. There is a nicer launch with dock in the Blaine Marina for larger boats that can make the longer run down to Birch Bay. Good luck!
2 weeks ago it cost roughly $35 a night for a trailer spot
No idea. But they have been doing lots of clean up work . And then turned on the water. So maybe....
Basically none...it's a very boring campground

Yes they have a water fill station near the dump station you just need to have your own clean hose
Yes it's a state park
Yes, at the south end of the park. The next closest boat launch for larger boats is in Blaine harbor.
Power sites are $35-$40 per night. Sites with no hook-ups range from $25 to $35 per night.
There is a free beach access area but its north of the main state park space. A discover pass or day pass is required in the state park
