Amazing seeing the view over both bays and then seeing canada just across from you its really surreal.

The park is situated next to the water and really close to the border of US/Canada. After visiting the town of Blaine, stop by this park if you have kids or kids at heart ;). There's a trail that goes for about quarter a mile. You can also do some barbecue at this park but I suggest bringing your own grill. There's plenty of parking for this park so no problem finding one.

Nice park with beautiful views. It seems well maintained. It's a good place to find painted rocks & a great place to walk the dog
Dre Rue
The bird watching is great, incredible variety that change throughout the seasons. Many Bald Eagles, they love to sit at the top of the tall trees near by the Whale sculptures. Nice view of Victoria & Mt Baker from the pier.

Yes of course the whole area is under surveillance. It's a federal offense to cross the border at an undesignated crossing. Additional factoid if you would cross into Canada illegally,freak out come back into the US it's 2 federal offenses... point being reconsider the action!!!
