Masks are required to enter and we have medical grade air filtration inside. We often leave the doors open to get fresh air. We have curbside pick up options as well.
Mr. Dillingham, I'm sorry to hear that the birds are not as active at your feeder. This could be happening for a few reasons: 1. Fall - Birds have a large buffet of natural food in the Fall and typically do not need to come to bird feeders as steadily to supplement their diet. With that being said, usually when it starts getting cold the birds will return to the feeders some. 2. Moldy Seed - Since we have had a lot of rain, it is good to check that the bird seed is not moldy. If it is, dump out the feeder and clean it out with a 10% solution of either white vinegar or Clorox and fill with fresh seed. 3. Stale Nyjer seed - Since Nyjer seed is and imported and irradiated seed it has a very short shelf life. Nyjer/Thistle seed purchased from big box stores ie grocery and hardware stores is typically stale on the shelf since they warehouse seed. We do not warehouse seed, especially Nyjer seed for this reason. Predators in the area and food not flowing are other potential issues.
