I would not stay here again ever. It felt “skeezy”. Don’t let the nice lobby fool you. That ends there. The rooms were very dated. The hallways reeked of cigarettes and weed. Our door keys were a joke. The front desk staff weren’t rude but not exactly pleasant either. The TV remote was beyond filthy and it took forever to change a channel. Don’t get me started on the bathrooms. Please, save your money. There are tons of other (I’m sure much nicer) places to stay. Wish I’d thought to take pics but didn’t want to dwell on it while trying to enjoy our mini vacation.

I barely want to give them 2 stars. The good parts first. - location was perfect for colonial Williamsburg and Busch garden - check in was quick and front desk listened to my concerns The bad parts - our room was dirty. Table tops had stuff on them, coffee grounds in the drawers, hair in the tub, jelly beans/sunglasses/ other items on the floor. (Did you even vacuum?) - pillows were tiny and balled up like they were super old - none of the non-front desk door are key entry so security is a risk. Anyone can literally walk in. - the door most accessible to the elevators wasn't automatic so you are trying to juggle everything while holding the door open We spoke to the front desk about the cleanliness of our room and she gave us 20% discount on the first night and someone to come up but in my opinion that's not enough. Overall, would not stay there again and would not recommend.

Most of the staff was friendly. That is the only reason I did not give a zero for my stay. The hotel is run down, the rooms had cobwebs in the corners, the rugs through out the entire hotel are filthy, having to walk to the front desk to get clean towels and more toilet paper, the situation with the bathroom size and how you have to walk between the sink and toilet to close the door, dog feces was seen on the first floor carpet, the hallways and lobbies had NO AC, no channel guide in room, no instructions (none at all) for placing room to room (since we booked several) phone calls, the pool did not look healthy therfore was uninviting, and last...but not all least...the stairwells constantly had water on the stairs and landings. NEVER AGAIN will we be staying there or even perhaps at another La Quinta. Such a true shame. We have stayed over the years at several La Quintas throughout the US. Always had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. NOT this time. As a reviewer, I read reviews before booking anything. Can not understand how some would say this is a 3 let only a 4 star hotel. Besides the breakfast being real nice (and kept clean by those friendly staff peeps) this is not a 3...maybe 2 for the breakfast. Set your standards higher people. Having to walk to the front desk to get toilet paper? Really?

Well this post is in relations to our family getaway this past spring break weekend. The staff was amazing and nice. The rooms were okay but housekeeping was very limited in the rooms as far as cleaning before you get there. We had a room change due to bedbugs I can tell that their aware of the problem just from the reaction which was very calm but nice about switching my room. No towels in the room and so forth. The ceiling needed to be patched up. Our new room upon entry shows old soap packets and shampoo bottles in the shower so you know the bathroom wasn't cleaned completely. So I did my own disinfecting! Well needless to say the beds were good and comfortable. The breakfast was really good and the lady preparing it was very nice and helpful. My overall stay was no terrible but wasn't ideal for the amount of money paid. Would I stay again? This will not be my first choice. But I have to give thanks to the front desk clerk she was awesome and nice about everything. Housekeeping needs a bit of education again on cleaning and perhaps pest control treatments for the bugs.
