We did experience a challenge with our reservation where we were allowed 5 guests in a room that could only accommodate 4 guests. The front desk manager was empathetic and worked with us to find a solution. In the end, due to her focus on the customer experience, we had an enjoyable stay at the property. Her efforts were very much appreciated by our family.

NO rollaway beds on property & NO pool! Google photos are outdated and the Marriott app doesn't reflect accurately. Also NO free breakfast; this info is elusive but there is an "on-menu" meal. Great customer service though.

Stayed here for couple of nights while in the Lynchburg area. The hotel staff was great when checking in. The room was MUCH less than what I expected for a Marriott property. The room seemed like it has been updated at some point since it had a more modern flair of decorations. The chair and ottoman were VERY worn discolored. Looks like they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. I felt contaminated after sitting on the ottoman for 2 minutes to put on my shoes. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Corners of the shower and shower door had black mold and mildew. The doors leading to a very small balcony looked like 72 kids had put their hand all over it after eating PBJ sandwiches. The bed was cheap and hard, almost like a dorm room mattress. I have stayed at Holiday Inns that were better kept than this Marriott. These issues didn't happen overnight, so this hotel has been going down for quite some time to get in this condition. I almost ALWAYS stay at Marriott properties, but save your money and get something else in Lynchburg, you are not getting the normal Marriott at this one!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When entering the hotel we noticed several insects trapped in the light, the tub had black stains, and it smelled awful. I expressed my frustrations at the front desk and was told they couldn’t switch out room because they were sold out for the night ? The woman recommended to clean the tub herself, however, an hour passed and there was no sight of her. At this point it was extremely late and I was so frustrated I called and told her don’t worry about coming to the room. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Yes but it's open weird hours
We do not have a pool. I apologize as we removed it to accommodate the larger fitness center.
