I could easily run out of words here. As I run through the memories of my life, so many joyful moments have occurred at Saint Barnabas on the Desert. There is an old German idiom which translates, "The energy you scream into the forest echoes back to you", and this is certainly true of our church. The big, pinnacle moments are easy to remember: me being baptized by Father Tuttle and being married by Father Jim. Our children hunting for Easter eggs, painting at art and craft days, and drenching themselves at Splashdown days. Our doggos being celebrated at the Blessing of the Animals. And, the most beautiful night of the year, Christmas Eve, celebrating Jesus's birth, while embracing our community, singing carols, and ringing in the season in the most breathtaking way. But, it's also so much more. The parishioners at Saint Barnabas are engaging, welcoming and such giving individuals/families. The clergy and staff are incredible. I mean, they really care. They know our kiddos by name, offer incredible events and programs throughout the year for our littles as well as for my wife and me, and do so much for those in need. Saint Barnabas on the Desert is so many things. Sunday services, Children's Ministries, year-round concerts from an inspiring and infinitely talented music program, and so many ways to be as involved as you want to be. We are blessed to have Saint Barnabas as part of the fabric of our family, our lives. We feel energized every time we are there. My family and I will forever be the better for the relationship we share with our amazing church.

All are welcome! It's Saint Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church's "motto" and it's absolutely true. My family and I felt very welcome right from the start. So glad we decided to attend Christmas Eve services in 2018. We've been members ever since. Today Saint Barnabas is an important part of my life and the lives of my family.

St. Barnabas is the real deal and a complete package for me. Great music, friendly people and great preaching. Sunday mornings are my favorite hour of the week and St. Barnabas delivers every time. I also like to volunteer with activities like the monthly Food Drive. So much fun!

As of March 2022, there are three Sunday services. The first begins at 7:45 a.m. and the second at 10:15 a.m. The third is a contemplative service at 10:21 a.m. in the Music Building, where participants have periods of silent prayer and watch a slightly delayed video of the sermon from the 10:15 service. The 10:21 service has normally been suspended during summer months. Please check the "Worship" portion of the website for current policies on masking and social distancing.
I believe so.
