Good folks. Dr York took care of my dog when she ripped her side open. Very happy with the results.

Overall very nice staff but that's it. My dog went there today for her 2nd round of puppy visits and they let me know about an optional vaccine for Leptospirosis. I expressed to the nurse that I didn't want my dog to have the vaccine yet as I still wanted to think on it. She told me that was no problem and that she would still get the other 2 vaccines we discussed. Needless to say, after looking at receipt I got charged for the Leptospirosis vaccine. If they really gave her this vaccine after I told them I didn't want her to have it leaves a very bad taste in mouth. And they also have a charge for gloves, masks, etc but none of that was even used while the exam was going on or anything. Nobody had a mask on so I'm not sure why this is a charge either.

Dear Ms. O'Dell, We make recommendations based on the individual patient and the circumstances. There may be instances where increasing food intake is appropriate. It’s also possible that diagnostics would be recommended for weight loss in older pets. If you would like to make an appointment to address any specific concerns you may have, please call us at 919-471-4103. Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital
Please think twice about declawing a cat. What you are doing is amputating the first part of their toes.
Yes, we are open normal business hours: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
I feel the prices are fair for the services that they provide. It's really hard to figure out a guesstimate because every animal is different and has different needs.... When my cat was in for sudden onset seizures, they did on site blood work, a very through exam, IV fluids and I left for approximately $270, plus they called me at home to check on my cat a few days later.... I feel it was worth it. The way my cat was treated made me feel like the only patient they had to take care of that day..... money VERY well spent.
