For those considering moving here… opinions of a 2yr+ resident as of April 2022 Health & safety: NNNNOOOOOO!!!! RRRUUUUNNNNN. Unless you HAVE to live here like me {close to campus and pet friendly} GO! SOMEWHERE! ELSE!!! - Roach infestation!! I have used traps, exterminators, poison, keeping my house spotless, keeping the dog spotless, I have slaved away at maintaining my unit to get rid of the bugs, no success. - SNAKE INFESTATION!! While vacuuming the house, I lifted my rug and found a LIVE SNAKE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HOME. Not at the door, not near the windows/entryways. I freaked out especially because I have a dog, imagine if she had been bit or I had not found this snake at the right moment. Called management to schedule maintenance and pest control. NO HELP. I called every day almost for two weeks until they got maintenance to lift the carpet and foam fill the ground under in case there was a hole. I then spoke to the manager regarding the snakes themselves. Yes to the foam but if there’s snakes outside it’s possible my dog or I might get bit while on a walk. NO HELP BY MANAGER OR STAFF!!! She just told me her office pest control company did not work with snakes so it’s a no go. … Two weeks later… boom another snake. I insist on a solution or at least an improvement. Nothing from management. ….. a couple months later aka yesterday, another snake. I want to move but there’s no student living that allows pets!!!!!!!!! I WANT OUT!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE AAAAAAAHHH. More on safety/security below. Location: Close to everything University, grocery, stadiums. SUPER traffic every other month due to stadium events. Amenities: pools are dirty 50% of the time. Trash bins and dog poop bags throughout. I keep wanting to use the fitness center but people smoke in it, I haven’t seen them but the second I walk in I get a headache from the smoke, I assume it’s convenient because there are no cameras. Clubhouse is not for resident/lounging, they only use it for office staff. Security: yes there is overnight only security who just “supervises”, items have been stolen from patios, guest parking directions given by them have been wrong aka resulted in being towed. Thankfully they will not open the gate for anyone that doesn’t have a resident pass, even if there’s proof of residency, they will not open unless it’s a specific resident pass. However the gate does break sometimes and it has to be left permanently open, this happens about every other month. Community: I’ve made an effort to meet my neighbors. 20/10 sweet amazing people. Maintenance: All staff excluding one {the lady w red hair} are the sweetest people ever. They actually care that your unit has everything fixed and properly working! Better customer care than Management. Also, when my locked bike got stolen [while security was on shift], security did nothing and maintenance men helped me look.
