The management is so poor and Ray is very rude, I never recommend this place for anyone since it was a nightmare living in that that place so called Chisholm place.

Update, 2018: do not bother with this place. Five years ago this complex would have been fine but with all the newer complexes being built, this one does not compare. Pros: sweet maintenance guys, parking is okay, spacious rooms, pretty flowers in some areas. Cons: priced the same or more as newer complexes in the area, unfriendly front staff, occasional bug problems, will charge you for carpet cleaning at move out no matter what because they have no concept of “wear and tear,” no gym or printer, no covered parking, dangerous sidewalks, half of the “walking trail” is blocked off. When we first moved in, things were great. Staff was nice. The carpet was newly installed but still a little messed up (not stretched out properly, felt like there was a rock under carpet In two spots.) Asked them to repair our fridge because it stopped working and the handle fell off and shattered on the floor for no reason. We were later charged for this but whatever, it happens. Now we have lived here a year, and suddenly there are ants everywhere outside. Antpocalypse outside my front door and the neighbors. It was disgusting to step out into a sea of dead ants, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the pest guy got it under control after a month or two and I didn’t get any bites. At this point we are looking around at other complexes being built in the area and we are paying more to live here than somewhere new. Baby roaches appear in the cabinets along the wall we shared with a neighbor. Drawer handle keeps coming unscrewed. Thermostat stops working. We give our 60 day notice and things really go downhill. Three families around us moved out during those last two months and every unit had resurfacing and recarpeting done. Contractors would work on them until after dark, then leave the windows shut and locked for “safety reasons.” So the chemical fumes went through the vent into our apartment and gave us headaches. We called and asked the complex to keep the other units ventilated at night, but they told us that they could not do anything and we should “just keep our vents shut” in the middle of December, with freezing temps, when we needed heat. The contractors had to have MASKS ON while they were around these chemicals and the front office thought it was fine for us to breathe it in for weeks. At move out time, they charged us because we did not shampoo our carpet ourselves. I confronted Erika about it she showed me pictures of BS “nicks” on our bathtub that “they didn’t charge us for but could have.” When I walked out of there frustrated, Lexi (front desk) condescendingly yelled “BYEEE” as I opened the door to leave. Cherry on top of a lovely experience. Moral of the story- Live somewhere nicer for the same price, new places are popping up all around this dump.
