Good customer service. Good quality product. All smiles. The atmosphere is relaxing. Etain is where it’s at.
Just a Girl From Bklyn
Yesterday I went to this dispensary for the first time because my usual one ran out of flowers. It was different, I’m use to having budtendors and when I walked in I hardly was greeted and no one even bothered to ask my name until I said something. The ambiance of the place is beautiful, obviously a woman owned business. Yet, the owner herself didn’t even introduce herself, as they were getting displays ready of the free samples that were being giving out. Now to the actual bud. After I was shown the menu and placed my order, the whole front page was not in stock, so they didn’t have the strains I originally wanted to order. Nonetheless I chose another alternative. I purchased a citrus krush and an indica leaning hybrid of ground flower/ shakes. I thought the price for the ground flower was kind of high and In NY you can’t see or smell the flowers before purchasing, so I went on the trust system. When I got home I was very disappointed with the quality of the weed. Firstly, I was taken aback by the orange color of the whole flower. Granted, it is a citrus strain, but I was a little skeptical that the orange smell stood out more than everything. The shakes looked like herbs and spices and I found little hairs (maybe dog hairs) in it. I thought “maybe I’m tripping let me smoke it to see.” And y’all…it was the most basic, regular of regs. For this to be a medical dispensary who urges customers to “buy weed from woman” I was highly disappointed. Everything that glitters isn’t gold and as pretty as this place is- the weed is subpar. My first and last time shopping here. I was better off hitting up my cousin in Brooklyn.

No ediables allowed in ny. Maybe Gov Cuomo will lose and Mrs Nixion with make it all recreational. Keep those fingers crossed. Side note that I should have mentioned if your looking in NYS Etain is THE BEST!
Mask and social distancing
Hi all: As an update to this conversation we just wanted to point out that all Etain dispensaries now sell ground flower pods for vaporization as well as bulk flower refills (ground bud) to refill the pods. In addition to this we carry portable flower vaporizers and will be expanding the line-up of vaporizers we offer in-store soon as well. Feel free to give us a call at 914-437-7898 if you have any questions or want to place an order.
NY does not permit medical dispensaries to sell the actual flower. You can buy the vape but unfortunately the flower is still illegal.
New York allows recreational use of a personal amount, but Etain continues to medicinal only, as NY State is dragging it's feet.
Yes, you do need to have a medical marijuana card.
Hi Ryan: New York State doesn't offer reciprocity with any medical marijuana programs as of yet, apologies for the inconvenience! It may be something that comes with future regulation, but I am not sure if Ohio would be on the short-list for reciprocity.
Yes
Just start calling people up and asking them what the requirements are only way you're going to find out is if you ask the dispensaries how they work and I'm pretty sure that they're different in their own ways so go for it now you kind of got me interested LOL
Yes the powders help plus there thc vile are what help my wife
As far as I know, yes. my Doctor wrote my Prescription on my Certificate to begin with. You may want to check.
I believe u need NY medical marijuana card
They do delivery u just need to be registered with new york state medical marijuana program
Not as of yet. The system is still in transition in NY state and, for the time being, you'll still need a license to buy from any dispensary
Hello Ellen! At this point in time you must have a NY medical marijuana card to purchase from any medical dispensary in the state, you can find more info on how to register to join the medical program here: etainhealth.com/patients
No they do not, the state of New York does not currently allow out of state medical cards to be used at our dispensaries.
Hey Carmen: you can find our NYC menu here: nyc.etainhealth.com, hope that helps!
Hey Ezra, you can find our menu here: nyc.etainhealth.com
I believe you need a NY State card. Call them to be sure.
Yes.They sell combinations.
You need a medical marijuana ID issued through a state approved DR. to purchase. Usually your doctor will also give you a recommendation for the type of product and dosage but the pharmacist there will go over that with you as long as you have your ID.
Hey Gustavo: We offer a large range of products and pricing for patients that are registered in NY's medical marijuana program. You can see the menu for our manhattan location here: www.etainhealth.com/order-online If you are not yet registered with the program but would like to be, feel free to give us a call and we'll help get you started! Hope this info helps!
Hi Miriam! We do not currently carry HEMPFLEX oil at our store. New York's medical marijuana program currently only allows patients to purchase our cannabis-derived CBD products so that likely wouldn't be an option for you either. There are definitely CBD stores in Manhattan though if you look around, off-hand we are not sure if any of them carry HEMPFLEX but we'd definitely recommend calling around to see what they have in stock!
Hey Julio, canna butter is not yet an approved product for sale in New York's medical marijuana program. Most edibles are actually prohibited from being sold, although we do offer a number of products that can be ingested (a honey-based lozenge, powder that dissolves in any liquid, and oil-based tinctures that can be mixed into all kinds of stuff). Apologies that we don't carry the product you're after, maybe it will be available under a future regulatory update!
Hi James: This question gets at the kind of weird legal distinction between hemp and cannabis. Technically the cannabis-derived CBD products we make here in NY have more than the .3% THC limit that legally qualifies something as cannabis vs hemp, which means that they can't be purchased without a medical id card even though they are predominantly CBD. We are, however, working on the possibility of selling hemp CBD products as well, though it would be up to the Department of Health as to whether we could allow people without an ID card into the dispensary to purchase said hemp products. So the short answer is currently no but the long answer is that it's definitely possible in the future! Hope that helps, sorry we aren't able to currently sell you products!
No. Not allowed in NY state
Hi Jonathan: New York requires that any patient who purchases medical marijuana have an ID card. The process to get the card is a little involved but certainly not overly difficult. If you'd like, feel free to give us a call at (914) 437-7898 and we can help walk you through the process!
Go into the dispensary and meet the pharmacist.
You need a New York State Medical Marijuana Card and then you can purchase Oils, Marijuana in Pill form or Drops. It's not like Cali where they have the physical buds that you smoke. Completely different process.
No, he has to be your caregiver. He needs to register for a mmcard under caregiver.
Kevin Slack, no and they have a (very nice) security guard. I believe it's a state law/restriction. You would possibly be able to enter the waiting area, but not the back. IMO you'd be better off getting it where you just need a license stating your of age, not a medi-card (like MA, probably like 3-4 hours I think, by bus if you are w.o a car). Oh and if you have a legit medical reason for needing it, talk to your doc about getting a license, I did and then just had to have a phonecall and they mailed it.
Mon ,Tues, wed, fri 10 to 6. Thurs 12 to 7 and 11 to 5 in Manhattan
You need a State License AND a Script from a Reputable Physician. It's not a game. All Legal. Then, Google. Call, and set-up an appointment. Additionally, MUST have qualifying illness (eg.: glaucoma, arthritis etc.). You're very welcome Beloved.
Yes you need NY id..ny mm card and /vaild certificate from doctor
Pills, vape, dissolvable powder, mouth spray. Check their website for details
Only 14 states offer some sort of reciprocity. https://www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/which-us-states-accept-out-of-state-medical-marijuana-authorizati
In California you can find Val's topical cream in most dispensaries. Its a wonderful product that helped my dad's psoriasis and he hates weed. Its 250mg THC/250 CBD and there are receptors all over your body so if you have aches, putting it right on there helps more than smoking. Its a miracle lotion and i use thc alot so i assure you, topical thc and cbd are Amazing. Way overlooked in non-legal states. Wont get you high but for skin conditions and muscle pain, wow.
Save your money it will all be legal soon enough.
As long as you got the certificate from the doctor and your New York Medical Marijuana ID card you can go to any dispensary ....after reading more Anna u have what u need your certificate and your medical Marijuana id. Also bring government id. And all dispensaries require you to make an appointment for your 1st visit to talk with their pharmacist to explain all their products and what would be best for you. Go to eatains website and make and appointment your good to good. And I hope it works out for u. The "prescription form" everyone is referring to is the certificate you got from the doctor. One and the same.
The very low thc:CBd ratio (high cbd) is called dolce and it comes in pills (2 hr to kick in, lasts 8 hours), dissolvable powder (1 hr to kick in I believe, lasts 6-8 hours), tinctures and oral spray (30 min to kick in lasts 4-6 hr) and the oil cartridge (5 min to kick in and lasts 2 hr)
Nat, its exactly what Jonathan said
See a neurologist..
You need my state medical marijuana card
If you’re ‘looking for weed,’ no card will help. Postings like yours are why medical marijuana is having trouble gaining ground.
They only deliver to certain parts of the state. Your best bet is to call and ask to have the most up to date information on delivery areas. Best of luck!!!
Thsts wired! Last week I pay with diamonds and Martian dust.
We are open now!
Whats the question.. that tens to happen to the carts especially when left on the pen.. try charging the pen if not replace
If your insurance would normally cover your doctors visit they HAVE to cover it if you get the certification. Please see the front webpage to the NY medical marijuana site for the announcement about the insurance. However, insurance doesn't cover the actual marijuana products. Hope that helps!!! Stay awesome!!!
no
You need to first see a doctor to get medical marijuana certification. Please make sure to read the notice on NY states medical marijuana site about insurance having to cover your doctors visit. Its important because they will try and charge you cash, don't fall into that trap like i did.
