Did not expect a Holiday Inn Express to be such a dump! Dirty carpets, lipstick on the window blinds, cracked tile, dust on surfaces etc. Bathroom was the worst with a bad tub and even some mold in the shower! Leeann at the front desk was the saving grace with excellent service. She surveyed the room, agreed it was bad and booked is into another hotel since she said not have any other rooms available.

Choose this hotel simply for the photos of the beautiful pool. They are not maintaining the pool at this location and it’s unusable. When I got there, I asked where the pool was and was simply given directions as if I could actually use the pool but then find a pool that looks like the swamp lagoon. The room was overall clean but the carpet was covering holes in the floor. The elevator quit working for a day. I had to have my key reset everyday. The night shift desk clerk was incredibly rude and acted as if she was not going to let me in when I got locked out due to faulty key. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Water pressure was lacking.

Crusty hotel. Lights wouldn't work when we got in the room. Got maintenance to fix it and he confirm that one of the outlets was short circuiting...so potential fire hazard!? Then a random alarm went off for over a half hour in the middle of the night. could not find anyone to turn it off. I did not feel comfortable showering in the shower since it was not cleaned, bathroom not even wipped down. bedding was not clean. had questionable substance on the duvet. not good.

Positive: Was in a great location only about 2 or 3 miles from downtown. The staff was very very nice and informative. Beds were very comfortable. Negative: The rooms were adequate but our door did not shut had to have a staff member show us how to Maneuver the door to secure it.. Had a couple roaches in our room. the tub did not drain. the toilet paper holder came out of the wall. It needed a renovation.
