Once families start working with Visiting Angels, they may need to make adjustments to their loved one’s care plan. We understand that an elderly adult’s well-being will change over time, so they will need differing levels of care throughout various stages of life. If you ever need to make changes, simply contact our McKinney office. Our care coordinators will work to make sure your loved one’s care plan reflects the services they truly need. We can change scheduling, services included, caregivers and more.

Our Ready-Set-Go Home program can help! Caregivers can help your mom transition home after leaving the hospital or rehabilitation facility. We can provide mobility assistance, medication reminders, and help with preparing meals, keeping the home tidy, and running errands. Our goal is to promote health and safety while preventing new injuries or hospital readmission.

The cost of care will depend on the type of care your loved one needs and the number of hours care will be provided. As a non-medical home care agency, Medicaid and Medicare benefits do not cover our services. If your loved one has a Long Term Care Insurance policy, that may help cover the cost of care as well. Although our office is located in McKinney, TX, our caregivers are able to provide in-home care services in Plano, Allen, and Frisco as well. Our local caregivers can assist families in smaller communities such as Prosper, Celina, Princeton, Farmersville, Anna, Melissa, and Blue Ridge, TX. Families in Allen, Plano, Frisco, and McKinney, TX often ask us what type of home care assistance we can provide. Our caregivers can help with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). This may include personal care such as bathing, grooming, and getting dressed; companionship through meal preparation and light housekeeping; medication and fluid reminders; monitoring, mobility assistance, transferring and positioning. Our caregivers are trained to care for seniors with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. We are a non-medical home care agency, meaning we do not administer medication, such as insulin, or care for wounds.
