I have been a resident at the West 46th for almost 5 years. (August 2016 - present) Here is my honest review: *Please note that I will only be commenting on my experience since Venterra acquired management in 2018. Cost and Quality: West 46th is one of the more affordable apartment complexes when it comes to higher quality living. I truly believe that the units are well maintained and feature top-end appliances, cabinetry, flooring, insulation, and fixtures. My unit specifically is a corner 1 bedroom/1bathroom on the 4th floor and I absolutely love it! Location: West 46th is extremely walkable to many local businesses. I enjoy taking my dog to the library's park across the street, walking the Richland Creek Greenway, and grabbing coffee at the small farmers market every Saturday morning. I have always felt safe in this area and have never had any issues taking my dog out in the middle of the night. From my apartment, you can hear the highway. But, as someone who has always lived in the city, that is 100% normal and expected. The trade off is that you have easy access to the highway! Sylvan Park is constantly growing with new things to do, so you will never be bored. Amenities: I have only really utilized the gym and it is exceptional. Management does a great job keeping it clean and stocked with a wide variety of new machines and workout gear. I never needed a gym membership, because everything I ever needed was downstairs. They built a small off-leash dog area on the highway-facing side of the building. Although I don't use it regularly, it is a great spot for those late-night potty emergencies. For a while, residents had issues with packages getting stolen and management took our concerns and installed smart package lockers and a security camera in the mail room. No more stolen mail! Management: The Venterra staff is truly above any other management company. They are always quick responding and thoughtful. Maintenance requests are addressed within 24 hours (usually much sooner) and they always communicate if anything needs to be fixed in a wider window of time. You are never left in the dark. Overall: I have enjoyed my residency at West 46th. I have had many coworkers live here as well and most have had great experiences. Thank you for the memories and providing me with a cozy and safe space. When I look back on the last (almost) 5 years, I am so happy that I chose West 46th to be my home. Best, Hanna

We didn’t end up leasing here BUT that was a decision we didn’t take lightly. We came by for a tour and the entire experience was the most clear, concise and thorough experience I’ve had when prospecting apartments. Pam in the office is a real gem, I’m grateful to her for her kindness and transparency - and she was so easy to get along with. We were so impressed by everything we saw, especially the amenities. The unit we looked at was spectacular - amazing window light and gorgeous kitchen. There’s no pool but in my experience, apartment pools can be a major headache for employees and residents alike. We would’ve picked West 46th in a heartbeat if there was more parking for residents instead of just 1 spot per bedroom, but we understand the space constraints of a bigger parking garage. If you’re considering living here, give it a tour - you’ll be impressed!!

I love living in West 46th apartments; the staff is amazing, friendly, and responsive. I feel safe and at home. I also enjoy the amenities, I use the club lounge a lot, it helps me to get out of the apartment and also allows me to meet my neighbors, who have become great friends. Also, my dog loves everyone that works here (literally). I love living in the city and West 46th allows me to be right by the interstate to go visit family but have such a city vibe with a park across the street, a great Saturday morning farmers market, coffee shops that we can walk to, and plenty of space to explore with my dog.
