I booked a 3BR apartment and I was told it was clean and ready to move in. I was travelling back from overseas with my wife and kids. We moved into one of buildings in the back most side of the property, the apartment inside was nice and clean, however the outside patio, windows, outside doors were covered with spider webs, spiders, insects. I walked into apartment entrance hallways and it seems like the building was empty was atleast an year. We randomly visited other buildings and they were clean. We went back to leasing office right away and informed outdoors are not clean, esp windows and patio therefore we cannot use them, the leasing agent was super rude, he said "thats how it is in the woods", i told him trust me I have lived in Bellevue and its not how it is, he made excuses and refused to get outdoors cleaned. I cancelled my lease right away and Thanks Lord I did not pay the rent and deposit at that point. Looking at the recent bad reviews posted in past one year, I can definitely acknowledge other customer experiences here.

It’s looks like they seem to be doing really well. I stopped by today to look at available apartments. The person in front of was complaining about his apartment, and the leasing person just put his hands up as if to say he can’t help him. When I spoke to him, he couldn’t be bothered and just asked to look at the website and do a virtual tour. When I asked for a tour of the apartment, he asked to take a virtual tour, while I was in his office! When I asked for a map of the complex he asked me to drive the facility and find the apartment. It’s almost laughable how much they don’t care. If they don’t seem to cares about future residents, I can only imagine how they treat current residents. Plus the apartments seem way too overpriced. Buyer beware! 0 stars.

This is the worst apartment I have ever stayed in. They would never take the trash, weights were stolen from gym and continued to be. Therefore, each time you went...there was a significant decrease from day one of move in. Second, they would hardly fix a thing. Each time I called. They said that they were not sure when they would be able to come. When they would come to look at something....They wouldn't let me know and my dog and roommates cat were roaming around freely. They could easily walk out. It made me furious. My washer, my dryer, and my dishwasher were broken from day one and because they never fixed anything....I had to put up with it until I left. This place is not worth the time, money, or unprofessional conduct from the staff. You are better off at Grand View up the street. The price for the utilities (that don't work) and the apartment is not worth it.

I lived here just over three years and like many others have noted, the quality of my experience declined precipitously after the new management company took over. I used to really enjoy the property and my experience at The Lexington, but enough issues eventually led me to move next door to The Wrenstone. It's very difficult to get in touch with someone on-site because you get sent to a call center any time you call the office. Additionally, the staff did not seem to be very responsive to emails. I'm sure this has to do with "The Great Resignation" and staffing issues, but it is unacceptable. They seem to be only focused on getting new tenants and not taking care of the current tenants. The package situation is a mess. I started having packages delivered to my workplace just so I didn't have to deal with going to the package center. At one point, boxes were literally falling on top of you when you went in the room. Not necessarily management’s problem, but since I was on the ground floor, there were about 4 water leaks from upstairs neighbors that seeped into my apartment over the 3 years I was there. Quite an inconvenience every time and the only thing done to remedy it was having a carpet cleaning crew come out and put carpet fans down on a business day. Then they’d have to come back to cut out the carpet pad and replace it. Usually took a week to have it all done. On 4 separate occasions, my master bedroom was in disarray because of the shoddy plumbing in the building. Beware. If you do live here, make sure to request pest control treatment fairly regularly. I didn’t know you had to request it even though you are charged for it monthly. Since the property is tucked into the woods, you will have quite a few insects and spiders crawling around. Just a heads up. If you get ice/snow during the winter, don’t count on the hill, parking lots, or sidewalks being scraped for a few days. I don’t think management wants to pay for that so you’ll just have to deal with it. Trash isn't always picked up when it is supposed to be, but God forbid you leave your trash bin out or you'll get a $25 fine. Nickel and diming at it's best. Plus, charging me for oven rack replacement upon move out? Come on. I can understand if I did damage to them, but you can't charge someone for that simply based on natural wear. The positives of Avana Lexington used to outweigh the negatives. That’s not the case anymore. This complex has seen better days.

I believe it is about $50 extra a month for a dog. If I also remember there is an extra deposit for a pet. There have been a few advertised dog walkers in the complex so I don't think it'd be that hard.
Yes
Yes, the front pool by the leasing office is open but only during office hours. They are open on Saturdays during office hours but currently not Sundays.
