I was there when it was Ellington and through the transition to Summit East. The interior of my apt. was updated and visually appealing. However, the building was infested with German roaches. I tried several methods to rid them from my apt. but since my place wasn't the source it was never fully effective. They still charge you monthly pest control. More like you're paying the roach's monthly rent. As Ellington they also attempted to double charge me several months for the $10 trash fee. When they transitioned to Summit East they wanted to raise my rent 58%! Yet at the same time they were offering new renters the same apt. for a few hundred less. Office communications were lacking as well. When notice to vacate was emailed I had to follow up to confirm receipt. Notice was given in adequate time to move out about 2 weeks after the 14 month lease ended. Even though they confirmed the move out date, they still called at the end of the 14 month lease to ask why it wasn't vacated yet. I had to remind them they confirmed the move out date over a month ago. I had hoped when they switched from Ellington to Summit things would get better. Unfortunately they just got 58% more expensive. Glad I moved out.

i lived here from october 2021-march 2022. i had all the critters you could imagine. i called the issue in many times and nobody ever took care of it. they attempted to raise my rent price in the middle of my lease with no warning, then argued with me that i was wrong about my rent price until i pulled up my lease. most of the staff was very rude and unhelpful. shootings could be heard all the time, the other residents would stare/follow me (i am a small young female), and there were multiple occasions i would find trails of blood throughout the apartment hallways. if you’re looking for a safe & nice place to rent, this is not the place to go. unless you enjoy mice and bedbugs.

told myself i wouldn’t write a review. here i am. the place is absolutely trashed. like every dumbster has been emptied at the dumbsters itself. so much trash it’s HUMILIATING. i don’t have people over, if i do, they judge. I’ve asked for months for them to fix the bathroom leak. i’ve stopped asking because obviously they don’t care. when they painted they broke my outside table and i never heard back from them again. Honestly, why move here? There has to be better options. if not, you’re better off waiting for a better option. i’ve been considering breaking my lease ever since i moved here. let me say again, there is so much trash everywhere, i can hardly step on normal cement without it being some sort of trash item. DO NOT TRY IT HERE. They don’t care about you, it’s disgusting, and so much trash.
