Terrible training experience compared to my time at FlightSafety. The ground school was satisfactory and some of the instructors were quite helpful and friendly. However, the sim instructors (one in particularly) was an absolute jerk making the learning environment hostile and difficult to learn in. Seems they still believe negative reinforcement is effective. Rather than showing true teaching mastery of the aircraft, SOPs, and FARS - his demands and opinions were imposed strongly during our sim sessions. He often contradicted himself becoming angry if items were not completed according to his specs. Another point to consider- Multiple times I walked past the briefing rooms hearing instructors bad mouthing clients using their first names. CAE’s inability to train instructors in MODERN aviation teaching styles is extremely disappointing. I would never recommend training here if client and customer success and professionalism are expected.

Short staffed. Staff seems very unhappy. No one returns phone calls or emails anymore. Guessing customer service is no longer important here.
