I've used City Motor twice now. Years ago I purchased an engine for my '68 Firebird which ran perfectly for years. Recently we had the engine in my son's '02 Firebird rebuilt. Ran into issues with some aftermarket parts we supplied. Kyle and David worked with me and resolved everything. These guys stand behind their work and I'll use them again without question.
coy guthery
Bad from the start .

Horrible service, don't finish jobs on time, don't return cores. Very bad service, they do not meet the promised times, the cores do not return, avoid problems and anger go elsewhere.

had to leave a star rating, had my 400 sbc rebuilt got it all installed and over heating right away. come to find out the head was cracked and was not found from the get go. Don't you all check the heads? and just recently the motor blew up oil pressure just dropped out of nowhere. and guess what since its been a little over a year the warranty is NO GOOD imagine that, I have other vehicles to drive so didn't even put that many miles on it...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

About 1200 dollars to rebuilt
The price is 1,856.48$
Call them. This is just a review
Bro you really need to call them but they charged me about 1400 dollars to rebuild a 289 engine that had been stroked out to a 347 Stroker and man I couldn't be happier. These guys are the real deal.
to know that you will have to call and ask for information in the store city motor suplay good luck
Yes of course, and they do an excellent job.
Yes
What year is it
That'll probably be a mechanical total, if you have full coverage. The cost of a rebuilt engine for this year truck would cost more than buying 2 more, at a used lot.
About 1700$-1800$
Probably depends on short block...or long block. Then little extra for premium. Prob just shy of 2k on cheap. No more than 5k on high id guess. 80 and 90s blocks run around 1500.. Newer aluminum prob double
Look them up on Google and on they're website, they have a link with they're machining services and prices.
They are open on Saturday until 12, your best bet is to give them a call so they can give you options and pricing.
Call for pricing
You're going to have to take the motor to them so they can see what needs to be done. It is a machine shop so they can either sell you a motor (short block or long block) that you have to put together or they can repair yours. I would call first to see what options they give you.
They rebuilt my 347 Stroker for 1400 dollars
You could ask them to do a performance block prep for 175 and to resurface the heads I think 75 a piece and turn the crankshaft for 75
It will be much better if you call, on the web side of city motor suplay they have the phone number available and get in touch with hellos
Call for pricing please

Call for pricing, custom jobs are different
City Motors can rebuild your engine if it's not beyond repair.
Depends on what you want
As far as i know you have to tear down your engine to the block
Yes it comes with main bearings too, they also install the cam bearings for you
Just go up there with the block completely torn down but don't forget to bring the main caps
They can sell you a new one but i think you have to put it in or hire someone to do it
Completely disassemble the engine and they will replace the freeze plugs with the bearings, the gaskets don't come with it but you can buy them from them
Usually it takes 3 to 5 days depending on how busy they are
Performance prep is 125 i think and crank resurface is 75
Performance prep comes with a bore, then it would be best to resurface your cank depending on the condition
Deck the block, new freeze plugs, paint, and bore
They can do a performance prep on the block for 185 remanufacture the heads for 85 a piece and grind the crankshaft for 85
