I had my wedding block there this year and I was mortified by one of their staff. My family who drove over two hours away were denied getting back into their room bc their card wasn’t working and staff wouldn’t make them a new key card. It was 1am and she was yelling and physically hit his hand away when he was trying to show his ID and reservation number. They ended up leaving having to leave that night. I still can’t believe it, and never got a refund. They also were incredibly rude and not easy to work with. I would not use them for a wedding block.

Worked here for 2 months. After having an emergency and not being able to return they did not turn in my payroll. When I called about it I was told I had to wait another 2 weeks to be paid. (Which is illegal). I have had to call labor board at this point as I still have yet to be paid..as an employee I would NOT recommend

Amazing staff, clean facilities, everything an more from what you expect at a Marriott. Having come from a very poor experience from the downtown Residence Inn, the staff at this location welcomed my family and I with open arms. So good, had an amazing stay, and can’t think of a better place to stay while visiting Portsmouth. Love this place!

The room was clean, however the HVAC system was a bit loud and we had trouble sleeping. The front desk never offered to discount the room for our bad nights sleep. Luckily for us our trip wasn’t a total loss as the air show was exceptional. If your HVAC is loud ask to change the rooms as it will keep you up all night.
