I go to Shooters quite often because I like to keep my skills sharp. September 16, 2022, I went to the range & told the staff that my gun wasn't working properly. I forget his name, but an older Caucasian male worked on it for about an hour and came up with the conclusion that a small piece of hardware inside of my trigger wasn't working properly. I informed him that it was the first time anyone had told me my trigger wasn't working properly and that I wouldn't be able to check it in the manner that he did every single time. Well, the last time that I went to the gun range, (October 2, 2022) Mark assisted me. He informed me that my main gun needed cleaning. He lubricated both of my guns & cleaned them both as well. I told him about my previous experience with the older Caucasian male & that the same thing began to happen with my gun again. It took Mark about 5 minutes to realize that my ammunition, that I bought from Academy, was the reason my gun kept jamming. Even after he found out why, I called him to my lane about 3 times to fix my gun because it kept jamming. He laughed a little and said "as long as you use this particular ammo it's going to keep jamming" .... He also informed me that I needed to stick with brass ammunition and that I couldn't go wrong with it. Subconsciously, I guess I thought I could get the gun to work anyway; because of the cost of the ammunition..... (it wasn't cheap)... But luckily I brought other brass bullets with me and they worked fine just as he predicted. He is highly skilled at what he does and is very nice, very tall and very helpful!

The employees here are all very knowledgeable and friendly. I was on the fence for a few options on pistols and was walked to the range for a courtesy fire. That helped me decide on the spot. It was clear that everyone was working as a team and did their best to attend to every customer. I walked out with a new pistol 20 minutes after shooting. Very happy with the experience.

Been here a dozen times but after yesterday’s customer experience finally decided to get around to writing a review! My husband and I have done the majority of our gun shopping here and enjoy Andrew since he is very knowledgeable about the current market and promotions the store offers! I also like that Andrew can make great suggestions to make sure you find new products to fall in love with! Shooters offers 1yr free range time for the purchaser when spending over 1,000 so that is also being much enjoyed! With that being said, I know Springfield’s firstline program was recently revamped so it makes sense that it may take time to get more inventory for it, but I would love to have the ability to purchase more of their firstline firearms in store! If you’re looking for a well stocked store + range on site in the Columbus area, this is it!
