Not much familiar falls in WA, but can be visited at least once. Went in on 22nd April, need to go for 1.2 miles trekking, not too much elevation, pets are allowed and even have seen bikers. Decent enough parking, water flow was less, enjoyed the nice trekking with good weather.

Great hike near Bellingham. Very quiet and secluded.

Great spot for beginning hikers and access point to more advanced trail heads. Trail can be modified (choices of parths) for more, or less difficulty. Know it's also heavily used by mountain bikes. I was almost hit once. Bicycler was going too fast and couldn't see around the turn (we were in some overgrowth and the trail just needed widening which has happened). For the other trails (Raptor ridge, Lost Lakes etc) I suggest the Washington Trails Association Hiking trails guide, and information for all ages, and levels (website). They also have an app. Same name. This site is accessed and added to by hikers.

Freaking Jurassic park meets hatchet. Beautiful and amazing. I was alone and was slightly spooked by how much bigger the forest is here vs north georgia mountain forests. Really worth the trip and easy to not get lost thanks to the signs posted.

Several choices: Go up from the trail head, and it connects to the Interurban trail. Go right on the Interurban and it will take you all the way to Larrabee, where there are several more trails going up or down. Go left on the Interurban and it'll take you through Arroyo Park, and eventually all of the way down to the Rose Garden Park and even Marine Park down past Fairhaven. If you go left on the Interurban but then take a right on the trail before it drops down into Arroyo, you'll head up to Hemlock, and many other trails, too numerous for me to describe here, including lost lake, Huckleberry, Raptor Ridge, and even all of the way to Pine and Cedar Lakes. Incredible trails all around Chuckanut! Get a map online, download, go explore and enjoy some great hikes or trail runs.
There are some horse friendly trails.
