Our kids loved the splash pad the the playground is in excellent condition too. It’s also very scenic and the crowd there tends to be a good mix of kind, happy people.

This was a cute little park with a shelter area and tennis courts. But I went there were kids playing soccer in a grassy field and people playing frisbee. It was a happy little scene.

Fairhaven Park is a gem hiding in plain sight. It has a large expanse of grass great for whatever pursuits require space, it two tennis courts being utilized by both tennis and pickle ball players. (There is generally a queue to play.) It has a covered pavilion with picnic tables. I would have rated higher but don't want to encourage too many visitors.

No fenced area but maybe if your doggie is well behaved off leash. I recommend the off leash dog area up the hill from marine park. Right next to the waste water treatment plant
Spray Park - Open June 15 through September 15, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Spray park utilizes fresh, potable water. It is not recycled.
