Doesn't matter how courteous you are some of these workers just hate their jobs and will be rude and make you feel discouraged from trying to get benefits

Employees are rude and crazy! Don’t really help with availability on days you are able to come in! I was trying to apply for Medicare but they make it so difficult and make it seem as if i can’t come in that exact day they call me then I can’t submit my application which is stupid! Tried explaining I couldn’t come in that same day but lady on the phone said today was the only day I could come in. I asked if I can bring the rest of my husbands info next Thursday which is my day off and she flat out said no! She never explained there was a deadline or anything! I wonder if I never answered the phone then what she had done. I just can’t drop everything I’m doing just to come in at their convenience. Maybe the person I was speaking with doesn’t really like her job or helping people. Since this is a service of helping people! The only reason why I give it 3 stars is cause I know with the government shut downs and employees not getting paid some may be in frustration . I still give people the benifit of the doubt, even though they don’t with their clients.

Ungornized staff and extremely rude.Case workers are there to aid people with needs not to ignore nor bi-little them. They have no respect for their clients. My experience there was terrible. Appointment was set for 8:30, they informed me 3 times I was in the incorrect office. They gave no directions or did make it clear on who to see. After more than 5 hours later we met our case worker and she informed us she is too busy to see us and that it was our lost and our fault we couldn't see her. We followed all the instructor that everytime were telling us to go and in the end they refused to have 10 mins of our time for something that they scheduled. Very unprofessional . Especially coming from a person that is suppose to help people

This is the worst place on earth. I waited for 5 hours for them not to call me name. And no one could answer any of my questions when I wanted to know how much longer it would be or who was taking care of my papers. And in the end when I had to go because I had an interview that day and couldn't wait any longer, the customer service lady at the front desk told me I could apply at the orange county office. Drive down there because it would be faster if I apply there, turns out I cant apply there because I dont live in orange county. If I could rate this place a 0 i would. How it has 4 stars is beyond me.

Yes, you can go inside, unless you are sick then you can wait outside, and, a social worker will still take care of your needs. People will still wear a mask inside the facility.

Most county Social Services offices are still closed to the public.
To replace your California driver's license all you need to do is simply go to the nearest DMV or Department of Motor Vehicles in this case it would be located off Redondo and Willow. Last time I checked it was $36 to replace a California driver's license and it took around 2 weeks.

Are you able to use google maps to find information for bus routes? If you don't have access at homr, go to a nearby library and use their computers.
There isno Long Beach location. The closest is Dominguez Hills.
