I wish I could give zero stars as my experience with Dr Heran was just terrible. I paid $1200 to Providence to have a psycho-social evaluation performed so that I could return to professional practice. I had a one hour zoom session with him which was fine and afterwards I drove 90 minutes to his facility to have a urine and blood test performed. He told me during the evaluation that if my labs came back positive "we would talk about it". I was not worried as I was 32 days sober at that point, and I was attending an IOP program having multiple random urine tests which were all NEGATIVE during that period. Fast forwards almost 3 months later, I assume that all was well but after multiple calls, emails etc trying to get a copy of the evaluation, I find out that my blood test came back positive for ETG. No communication with me during that time!? He then submitted the evaluation stating that I had consumed heavy alcohol during my reported sober time. Not true! Had he called and discussed it with me, I would have happily submitted to further testing, hair, nail etc which would have disputed the findings of the blood test. Also the blood test used typically requires a baseline test for comparison. I spent many hours researching why my blood test was positive and I found many examples from clinical trials showing that various factors could have contributed to a positive. Regardless, there was NO communication from him or any follow-up. He took my money and did the minimum. I requested my medical records several times, he violated my civil and HIPPA rights by not providing the evaluation to me. What concerns me is that this man is supposed to be helping people, he did not help me. He saw a positive and treated me with the attitude "she's an addict, she's lying". I chose to prove my innocence so I paid out of pocket to take a hair and nail ETG test to show 6 months of sobriety which were NEGATIVE. I have since had another evaluation by another provider and did get my license restored. However, his initial findings will always be on my permanent record with my professional licensing body. If you want someone who will take your money, do the minimum, not follow up and treat you with suspicion then Dr Heran is your man! I sat on this review for a while because I typically let things go but this one I just can't. Awful experience. Don't go here.

I was hired by Providence during the COVID Pandemic as a Telehealth Therapist. I am so fortunate to have had the experience of working with the Director Bill Heran, and the rest of the staff. I have never experienced the high level of Clinical Supervision, support, staff communication, and generosity of additional education from any agency I have worked with. I am disappointed that the insurance and state rules are returning to pre-covid policies. Providence is a place that I would be happy to work for in the future as the need develops. Susan R. After initial phone call,a few days later got a return call apologizing for not getting back to me . During that call we discussed my insurance and situation. He said he was the coordinator and would consult with one of his staff.He was apologetic and reassured someone would get to me. I never heard back ,5-7 days later I called back and spoke with an operator who said she would pass on the info, never heard back. Am not a big review writer,but am disappointed in the no response.,especially around a health issue,am now upgrading the review, they did get back to me and were very apologetic.The CEO and coordinator were extremely helpful and I believe genuinely concerned in making sure I’m being directed to places that fit my needs. Very appreciated. I believe that this was just a misstep,not their usual practice. ,

I am a licensed acupuncturist who has provided acupuncture for patients at Providence. I am continually impressed by the professionalism, expertise, and compassion put forth by the team here. Their utilization of a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary and integrative approaches to treatment really stands out. I believe this is one of the many reasons they are so successful. Highly recommended for anyone needing this type of care.
