I was one of many who viewed acupuncture as a last resort. This is before Dr. Sheng turned my life around. In clinical terms my condition goes under the heading of chronic cervical radiculopathy and spinal stenosis. The name hardly does it justice. Symptoms include excruciating pain that shoots down the arms with the potential of permanent nerve damage. In my case, I was forced to take medical leave from my job. After all avenues of conventional treatment were explored but without success (two rounds of prednisone, three epidurals, 15 weeks of physical therapy, five different types of behind-the-counter pain killers and blockers) I was faced with surgery as my last option. Or so I thought. Following a friend’s recommendation, I contacted Dr. Sheng. The good doctor refers to her treatment as “Chinese medicine” which is an holistic approach centered around acupuncture. After just three treatments, I experienced positive results for the first time in eight months! What I once viewed as a last resort has now become my immediate go-to in the future. I met Dr Sheng after a sports injury that left me with such bad muscle pains in my legs that no other dr/therapist could figure out why my pain would not go away. I was only about 22 at the time. Well I explained to her what happen and she told me to relax as she knew exactly what to do. Acupuncture has put me at ease and I praise Dr Sheng to anyone I meet who is having pain or has any type of health issue. Whatever you are going through she can fix. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Sheng! She is truly a blessing and one of the greatest people I have ever met
