Nuggets first trail walk in Texas .. very quiet. Even has lots of shade which is rare around here.

This is the first time I come to this preserve part and when I first got there I was like but once I walked in I loved it I only had like a 15 minute walk and I like what I saw the only reason why I couldn't do the whole trail was because the mosquitoes were like from the zombies in The walking Dead every time I look back there's houses in them behind me but I will definitely go back to experience the whole part because it looks very beautiful with a little bit that I saw please check out my pictures and follow me too for more adventures and me getting lost in the woods.

Came out here yesterday and we didn't have bug spray, big mistake. Today we saw our first owl on a hike. A huge one over on the left side from the entrance along the creek. Awesome experience! Lots of birds, bird houses, and bat houses. A bunch of crisscrossing sandy/dirt trails that would be fun on a mountain bike or a nice woodsy hike thru some wetlands. We got 4 miles out of it today and could've kept going but we turned at the water treatment plant because the sun was setting. Bring your own water. They have a porta-potty. I wanted to find all of the numbered posts but fell short. Not even sure they are there post Harvey. No maps and the trails aren't marked well but most of the trails loop around each other. Loved it and will be back.

The entrance is just before the bridge off of Spring Cypress Road and telge
Jim, the new bridge obliterated a really cool spot you used to be able to go down to the creek. However the old trail didn't go much further, it rounded back around where the new Louetta bridge is now. Would love for them to develop further north.
I don't think so, not on a nature preserve ??
Yeah I've seen runners there before. A lot of different turns/paths.
The the time should be different now closer to 8 or 9
Yes they are.
Yes
The water is pretty high. I would say don't go out unless you ABSOLUTELY know the area and which parts are prone to retain high water. Telge also has a shoulder with a steep drop off so please please be careful!
