Jim, the new bridge obliterated a really cool spot you used to be able to go down to the creek. However the old trail didn't go much further, it rounded back around where the new Louetta bridge is now. Would love for them to develop further north.
I not sure you might want to call parks and rec. Or the county to ask I do believe that park has a parks and rec service on that site and they do work in there sometimes!! I too have noticed that last week that they haven't been back there in a while!! I too thought about bringing trimmers with me to cut some of the trail on the other side under the back bridge!!
