Don’t do it: My truck was almost stolen the first weekend I moved in. Thankfully I’m already aware of the crime here and was able to stop it myself. Management has done nothing to secure the perimeter. I have spent my own money to put up cameras. The gates stay open sometimes allowing anyone to come in. They raise the rent after each term but the quality of living here is not increasing at all. Don’t California my Texas Edit: I did speak with management about this issue and was told “well this is Dallas and Pleasant Grove isn’t too far away” I’m from Pleasant Grove and no one has broke into my truck when I was living in PG. I felt disrespected.

The Valiant team is the second ownership group we have had while leasing at Bluffs. They have been very responsive and provide great service. The location of the complex is fantastic having access to the Santa Fe/White Rock Lake trails and short drive to everything we need in East Dallas. The interior of the apartments are nice and modern. Cons include a less than ideal parking situation (can be very difficult to find parking in the evenings), constant construction issues near the entrance/exit onto E Grand Ave which can make driving in/out unsafe and we've also experienced multiple issues with the AC units.

I've lived here several years. I've seen different owners take over the property, and have seen various property managers and maintenance crews come through. Recently, we underwent yet another change in ownership, which gave us another management and maintenance team. So far, Valiant Residential has been great, here at the Bluffs at Lakewood. For me personally, and from what I can see throughout the property, they have all been very responsive. I'm quite pleased with the effort being put forth on their end. While they are still learning and putting permanent folks in place, they definitely hit the ground running, and I've seen them come a long way in a very short period of time. It really makes a difference when support and customer service are the focus - and I see that with our new owners, management and maintenance folks.

Ever since Valiant Residence took over, it has been so easy working with them. When putting in a request to get some maintenance work done they get it done right away. They are very efficient, easy to work with, very sweet, and professional! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
