In 2020, I was living in Texas and was scheduled for cervical spine surgery. My surgeon is well-known nationally but Covid precluded me from having an elective surgery. My Texas surgeon has since moved to the Steadman Clinic in Colorado and I moved to Las Vegas. I called my original surgeon and asked for a reference for the surgery here in Las Vegas. He referred me to Dr. Poelstra at Nevada Spine Clinic. It was a great suggestion. I've had the surgery and am now recovering. Dr. Poelstra is very informative, polite, professional, thorough, and I have never felt more comfortable with surgeries (my 11th) than I have with Dr. Poelstra. His P.A., Jodie Wells, is also excellent. When I had some trepidation about the surgery, she sat me down and went through everything I could expect. I felt very comfortable going in after my conversations with Jodie. Her follow-up was equally good. The only issue I had was with trying to communicate with the Medical Assistant. My assumption is that she has more "on her plate" than she is reasonably able to handle. There were issues with my meds and and other minor issues for which I had little or no response. But, this was eventually resolved. Having read all of the reviews, many related specifically to the wait time. This is an issue at many practices and I can only say that if you want the best, sometimes you have to be patient. In all, I would highly recommend Dr. Poelstra with any surgery related to one's spine.

I traveled from Denver, Colorado to Las Vegas specifically for back surgery by Dr Kornelis Polestar. His Robotic Assisted methodology is unique and has no equal in outcomes. I have 3 brothers, all had multiple back surgeries. The oldest was operated on by Dr Poelstra. He has no pain and lives a normal life; other Brother is wheel chair bound, no pain. 3rd Brother passed away 2 months post (3rd) surgery. I researched Dr Poelstra, viewed several YouTube presentations and was impressed by the Robotic Assisted methodology he developed and continues to advance. Dr Poelstra and his team were incredible in their approach, methods, thoroughness, attention to detail and all with a smile. I could not be more satisfied with my outcome. I have no back pain, am able to go up and down stairs with no pain, sleep better and enjoy life once again. Dr Poelstra's passion for patient outcomes is visibly and demonstrably obvious.

Very crowded not the most organized clinic. I spend several hours at each visit just to be seen for a couple of minutes. They also do not communicate appointment times clearly. I was told my appointment was the 27th for a follow up after spinal injections. When I call they say I don't have an appointment. So I guess I'm done with this clinic? I'm not sure what to do next.

I know what you are saying I have it to and the pain is crippling .they told me that an injection in my spine would help so I had the injection on May 18 2018 and I have had pain everyday much worse then before the injection I tried to talk to Megan about it and she snapped at me and "we will not Chase you "and left the room so I strongly recommend you get a 2 nd opinion from a different doctor go to your primary Dr and ask. don't let Navada spine push you around you have the right to a 2 nd opinion and think befor you get injection in his spine they can cause more damage you can Google it and know fact for yourself
