We can't say enough about Dr. Jex and the Las Vegas Pain Institute. After suffering for years, Dr. Jex gave my husband a shot and a week later the pain in gone. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Read this review before going to this office! They will take your money and refuse to transfer your prescription if the pharmacy runs out of the medicine. Then tell you that you will have to wait until the next appointment. Problem with that is that you need to have the medicine in your system to pass the drug test. And don’t bother telling them that you want to speak to the office manager, the front desk will just hang up on you and refuse to answer your call. Didn’t realize I was dealing with high school girls at a doctors office. Guess I expected more professionalism than that. They know they have you in a vulnerable spot and they use that to their advantage.

This place has caused me an excruciating amount of pain and stress. I initially went for my first visit approximately 6 weeks ago. The Dr. who saw me recommended an epidural injection to relieve my excruciating pain. I have severe stenosis and can hardly get out of bed, but I need to work, so I need a remedy. I chose the Blue Diamond location because I am new to the area, and they were close to my house. My first impression of the place was odd. They looked like they just moved in. I even asked them that, but they said they've been there 5 years. They had 2 elevators both broken. So, I guess their okay with people in pain having to walk upstairs. Back to my pain, they scheduled me for the epidural at one of their other locations on the following Monday. They called me Monday to cancel because insurance issues. 1 week goes by I hear nothing. 2 weeks go by I hear nothing. Finally, I made an appointment because I needed more meds, they thought I would have the injection by now. Week 3 my pain is now running down my whole right side of my body even with meds, I need help, so I couldn't wait anymore, so I called the Blue Cross insurance and asked what the holdup was. They were very clear and precise with every date and the time they either called my Dr's office or faxed requests for clinical documents to get this approved and they said 100% of these requests which totaled over 15 have been ignored. I immediately went to the pain clinic and asked what was going on. They said they send documents over. So, I thought maybe Insurance company is holding it up. week 4 and I in tremendous amount of pain. I call Blue Cross again and they transfer my call to a nurse who makes the decisions on approvals. And she said to me "I am not even supposed to talk to patients" but she was very nice and explained to me what had to be done. The nurse spelled it out to me in simple terms. She said, "since your Dr. office has been slow to reply, if at all, all they need to do so you can have your epidural injection is just write us a report stating the patient did physical therapy and continue the exercises at home." which are all true. She guaranteed me approval within 2 days. She also said they must act soon because my case was close to being denied because of non-compliance from the doctor's office. I drove immediately to the pain clinic, and spoke with the young man Chimney pleasant fellow and said please send over what is requested. I told him what the nurse said and he said he wanted to get it done. I waited a few days and called the insurance company again and they said my claim was now denied because the doctors office failed to comply. The doctors office failed to provide clinical records have the peer-to-peer discussion, or anything. At this time I am so frustrated with this pain clinic at their incompetence. So, now I am in the worse pain yet. I called the Blue Cross again and asked if I went to a new pain clinic can they pick up where this left off. They said if I went to a new pain clinic it would have to be a brand-new request. I begged them and they said they would allow a second submission for authorization they said normally I would have to appeal through the marketplace but since this has been the doctor's office fault, they would give me one more and it would be expedited. So I went immediately to the pain clinic and asked them to put in a new authorization. I asked when they would submit the clinicals and documents that the insurance needed. They said right now. It's 5/13/22, I still hear nothing, so I call the pain clinic to get status. The rude awful people who answer the phones hang up on me. So, I called the Blue Cross to check the status. Blue Cross once again said they never received anything from the pain clinic. Now this case will soon be denied a second time because they didn't comply. I called back the pain clinic and they hung up on me again. What kind of people allow me to suffer for 6 weeks, all they have to do is spend 30 seconds to send documents and instead they lie and send nothing every time.

Yes they do but tbh they are horrible people the office staff has little to any customer service skills they laughed every mistake off and my doctor left before I even showed up EARLY to my first consult. they called me to tell my I missed my second reschedule the day AFTER not the day of....i felt so frustrated and left to figure out what to do alone. I told them I would never go back there. Go to another place try Dr.Fabido.

I belong to a pain clinic in Ca. I am prescribed Fentanyl and Oxycodone. Is that avail. There. We are planning to move to Vegas.
