Great place to walk on a comfortable gravel river bar, or just sit and enjoy the sky and the clear river flowing through a mountain gap, or to cool off on a hot summer day by taking a swim in the cool, clear water. There are a couple of nearby businesses that rent kayaks and canoes for those that enjoy a casual float down a clear Ouachita Mountains river stream. The access is easy to enter from State Hwy 27. The entry is in a curve, so slow down or you will miss it. I recommend this place for a quite walk.

It's a nice area with several trees for shade. Shallow to fairly deep. Not many people there when we went, so that's nice. Would recommend, but it would be nicer when the river is up a little higher to get the water flowing more.
