I'm Guatemalan and I love Guatemalan food but this place is horrible because they are serving less food and the prices have increased a ridiculous amount. The girls taking your order are extremely rude and are incredibly unprofessional. Apparently the owner is the same. So if you wish to pay high prices for a little bit of food and give your order to the sarcastic employees, this is the place to be.

I come here each time I visit L.A. my late mother and I would walk here during the week. I like the ethnic foods they carry and the pastries or “pan dulce”. Great memories. .

Typical Guatemalan breakfast with scrambled eggs, black beans, cream (crema), fried plantain, and fried pork (chicaron). To drink an atole de elote (cream of corn drink)

This place would be fire if the food was fresh and hot. The food is very tasty don’t get me wrong but it was cold which kinda killed it for me, hence the 3 stars. Staff was also so-so. They behaved as if they did not want to be there. If you are willing to take your food to go and then warm it up they you are in for a tasty treat.
