My first time going to this Bakery and when I walked in I saw a line so I got in it. Turns out there's actually two lines one for buying cakes and one for just buying pastries. I was a little confused but the ladies took care of me and got me the cake that I needed. It was a birthday cake and they wrote what I wanted on the cake right in front of me. I bought a vanilla cake and it was delicious.

The bolillo is great the breads are delicious. They have great attitude towards customers but are very slow to service. This new generation of employees could not be any slower. If you ever saw the movie Zootopia with the sloths at DMV exact same thing. It makes you think more than twice about going because it's a good 30 min wait when there's only 2-3 customers.

Unless you want hair on your cake with no apologies, full refund nor any fault taken DONT COME HERE! I called the bakery immediately after noticing the hairs inside the cake (no more than 30mins after picking up the cake for my kids birthday) and the lady who picked up the phone immediately blamed me and then blamed the “brush” they use for the icing. When I asked for a refund she insisted on making a new cake which would take sometime, I Insisted on a refund and She demanded that I drop everything I was doing and bring the cake back in. Upon arriving, Noemi and a second lady completely turned on me and made me look like I was in the wrong, continuously chuckled and smiled at the situation and even questioned me on where the rest of the cake was (the cake had already been sliced before we noticed the hairs) she even went as far to say that her bakers are bald and laughed while making a joke about hairs in food. After all this, they only gave me a portion of my refund and asked me to reach out to Dennis if I wanted a full refund. After speaking with Dennis this went nowhere - he promised me a call back after he looked into the situation - it’s been a week now and not even a chirp. Unfortunate situation here as myself and my family all live within the area and this has consistently been our go to bakery.

Delicious Bakery in East LA, but beware- it gets busy. They have tres leches, tamales, and pan dulce. The price was, also, very reasonable. They have parking.

I can ask. I know the owner
You make line outside (socially distant) and when it's your turn an employee lets you in and has you get spray sanitizer. Once inside you tell the employee what breads you want and she'll put them on a tray and take the your tray to the front counter. You then stand in line inside to pay and get your bread.
They have the six foot deli sandwich with the homemade bread delicious!!!👍👍
Depending on the size, they have different sizes of roscas
