Great float! We did the 4mile because the forecasted temp was about 100 degrees. We got out a few times to cool off in the cold water. Saw lots of decent size fish and would come back with poles next time. Even though it was very, very low and we had to walk the kayaks some it wasn’t bad. If you watched the current or had a martyr to test then you could find the deeper parts.

Fabulously run outfit. Great staff. Beautiful location and camp area. The river is a fun place for an easy float. At various campsite down the river, too many people swimming and hanging out on the 'paddlers way'. Otherwise, perfect! Had a great day.

Great operation, can handle lots of people efficiently. We had a lot of fun on our float trip. Highly recommend, would love to do again.

Floated on Tuesday 06.21. Tandem kayak 8 miles - took about 5 hours. River was excellent. Facility was nice. We didn’t camp but might next time. The campground looks very clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. Since it was a Tuesday the river wasn’t crowded - I under it gets pretty full on the weekends. Would defined do again

Karen, the best thing to do is call us and just make sure we have something available. If you're not picky and will set up anywhere then we probably have a spot for you, but the best camping spots get reserved about 6 weeks in advance.
Look online or at the app. To see what is available, book online..
It could be because of a lack of employees during the off season time, making it harder for somebody to be at the phone all the time. I'm sure if you leave a message or send an email somebody will get back to you, and you may be able to have the place to yourself! The only thing that will stop you, is the campground is going through a remodel of sorts, Which could make it where the campground is actually closed, but you should send an email to find out for sure, they're very nice people, try to talk with Pat about it.
They are not the same but I would recommend personally big elk
The town has a gas station\ grocery store that has fresh food and stuff
They are closed due to some flooding
Looks like they do rent by the Month.
Yes to primative camping. Unsure of cost.
Yes 35$ a night
I would recommend calling the outfitter, or reaching out to them via Facebook. Normally when the water is high, they will only float rafts.
We are open all year round but you should call a day or two ahead of time and let us know you're coming.
They have a small cabin type of thing that is air conditionedwith beds, they can move it anywhere in the campground that you want. They also have a big house that sleeps 16.
