I communicated very clearly about wanting to move in etc. I even took off from work to go in and complete everything. When I got there he acts like he doesn't recall anything we spoke about and states that the apartment had been put on hold. I'm a black female btw. A professional salary degreed person who can afford the apartment. This was a waste of my time. Maybe they won't do someone else this way. But why even take the chance!!!!!

Management told my Mother and I that we should find somewhere else to move due to a management change but when a Hispanic woman came in to be greeted, he initiated conversation about touring with her. In short, they only want to move in a certain ethnicity into these apartments and I could tell by the response we were given.

This complex is owned by the City of Dallas Housing Department so it is not held to the same standards as privately owned complexes. This explains why this is the only complex in the area that does not respond to reviews. I called the office to follow up on an AC maintenance request ticket I had submitted. The guy told me that they had 400 units and I would be placed on the list. In 95 degree weather. I told him that non working AC was a code violation. He tried to tell me that it wasn’t and to read my lease and that I could file a code violation if I wanted. I was actually on the website filling out the code violation form when the manager called me back. My AC ended up being fixed that day. I believe it was just freon so I was lucky it wasn’t something serious. The office employees do their job but customer service is not a priority.

I would say you get what you pay for, but here you get that and so much more! Lived here since 2019 and haven't been let down. You can't beat this value for the quality of the complex and the location. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of more urban/ upscale properties, but it makes up for that in grocery/ food options and being at the seat of 408/20 for easy access to other points of interest in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Definitely will keep renewing the lease until work/life satisfaction demands relocation.
