The location of the hotel is great. But going in, there was water all over the floor.... I'm assuming from people walking around after swimming. Also, we walk into the room and their is a cockroach on the bed where the sheet is folded over, meaning the housekeeper probably saw it and didn't do anything about it. When we called the front desk about it, they said the only thing they could do was bring down the sheets for new ones... it was kind of inconvenient because we spent 6 hours at the zoo so we were extremely exhausted so having to do that was just annoying. I mean it's a cheap hotel so I guess that is expected.

Check in was quick and easy, they did call before arrival to let us know that there would be a $100.00 refundable deposit required (Cash or Card). The hotel itself looks and smells clean. It seems to be recently updated. Our room had newer paint, carpet, tile work along with newer bathroom fixtures. Staff that we had dealings with were extremely nice and professional. The location is about 45 minutes away from Dallas and within 30 minutes from anything you would like to do in the Fort Worth area. There is a Q.T. (gas station) directly across the street from the hotel so you have nearby food and drinks available 24/7. The landscaping has conveniently placed hedges that you can back directly up to keeping eyes away for your back glass if you have items of value in an s.u.v. as well. All in All I believe it is a good hotel for anyones overall stay.

If you’re looking for QUALITY DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is very DIRTY. 1. SMELLS - First off, the smell of the rooms are OFF and weird. If you walk in, you’ll understand exactly what I’m taking about. 2. LOCKED OUT OF OUR ROOM - Husband and I literally left for less than an hour to pick up something to eat, and apparently our key machine that reads your key did not function. So, we LITERALLY were locked out, had to wait in the hallway for management to show up, and the kicker is management took 30 minutes to show. Where was he?? Lord knows. 3. The door 🚪 looks as if it’s been broken into, or tried. LADIES this is NOT a safe indicator and a RED FLAG 🚩. It was strange. 4. DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY 🤮 . I have never stayed at a hotel this dirty before in my entire life. I chose this place because it LOOKED OKAY on pictures, but oh no was I wrong… • My “brand new towels” supposedly had stains on them, YUCK!!! 🤢 are these not supposed to be washed???? & or be brand new? • Shower had STAINS ALL OVER, as if no one even went in there and scrubbed the shower 🚿 🧼 down nor disinfected!! I kept taking pictures and sending to my husband all the nasty things I noticed. It was just horrible and terrible quality. As much as La Quinta updates their design, at the end of the day, the quality will and always is sooo low. Staff and the organization as a whole need standards and expectations. SO DIRTY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Should start with context. Drive to DFW fro Omaha and it was super windy so I wasn't, not edgy. Okay now let's get into it. Called ahead as had a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites for the weekend. During the drive decided to just grind out the whole trip. Ended up in town early and the Hampton was booked. Called around a young lady answered. Probably woke her but could not understand her at all. Fumbled through the call with the understanding there was a room available. Arrived at 4:30am. The assumable same young woman greeted me shortly after pressing the call button. She was a total sweetheart made sure I knew how everything was processing. She was a complete doll just impossible to hear. Poorly worded signage in the entrance prepped me for this is going to be a quick in sleep and out. Got to the room, couches were super ugly mustard color, shower had mold. The bed... hard, extremely uncomfortable, pillows were trash. Completely exhausted I didn't care I wanted to crash. Lights out I pull back covers and go to sleep. I wake after a few hours to a tension headache from the pillows and a what appeared to be a blood spot on the sheet! Quickly checking myself to be sure it was not my blood... I realized I had just slept in someone else's stained bodily fluids. Didn't brave a shower just checked out drove up the street and was finally able to check in at the Hampton... I frequent La Quinta's as I travel as they usually are a good comfort and competitively priced. This would have been a 2.5-3 star due to ownership or management's signage and the cheap bed, furniture, pillows. The yellowish-red, blood or something stain... 0*! Then I see a bed bug review below this one... ugh! That La Quinta was a mistake.

Pet friendly at no extra cost. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. They even have an indoor pool.
I guess thats up to their owners wether they like it or not. I saw lots of dogs there when I stayed.
