This is a must visit camping ground for people with trailers and RV. Dry camping, no hockups, nice trails, stream, fishing allowed, may need the fishing license. I have stayed here.

Very clean campground! Great fishing! And the US forest very helpful with any questions you may have. Keep up the great work!

Great campground on State Route 108 west of Kennedy Meadows. Makes for a very nice basecamp for activities in Stanislaus National Forest, the Emigrant Wilderness, and Levitt Meadows/lake/peak. Another plus is the great swimming hole on the Stanislaus River about a mile east on 108 at Douglas Flat picnic area.

Perfect place if your looking for a more queit location for camping. River is a stone's throw from half of the sites but does require caution being that the path is steep. Kids will love going here doing activities like fishing, lizard catching or even rock climbing. Highly recommended.
