The Trail of the Gargoyles is a great out and back trail that follows the edge of a cliff with a gorge/valley of trees below. The trail is about 1.5 miles long in one direction along the cliff side with some stunning views of the surrounding National Forest and mountains.

Very easy trails and outstanding views. The forest road out there gets bumpy, not reccomend for a low sitting vehicle.

You could mountain bike here, but the trail is really designed for hiking.
