This was the worst experience at a car rental rental I have ever experienced. I pre paid for a rental, I was to pick up car at 10:00 . I arrived at 9:45am. The agent told me he had to leave and would return at 11:00. I tried to explain to him I had to be at an appointment by 11:00. He proceeded to ask me to leave and lock the door, I was left waiting outside in the heat until he returned at 11:10am. That’s when I was given the car. I missed my appointment., I returned the car 2 days earlier and was still charged for 4 days, even though I was told I would be credited for bringing in the car earlier. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET ON UNIVERSITY, Very unprofessional!!!

I was charged $250 more than what i was qouted by a customer service agent when booking my moving truck for me via phone. I did not find out about the additional hidden fees until i showed up to pick up my truck. In addition to that i reserved a auto transport trailer to carry my vehicle since i am moving across 3 states. The bald black man apparently gave away the truck that had the trailer already attached to the truck and to me i needed to hook the auto transport trailer up to the truck myself he couldnt do it and didn’t have anyone else to do it. Makes 0 sense because this was not told to me before hand and if i knew i wouldnt have rented from here as i have NEVER hooked up a auto transport trailer myself and have no one else to do it. Completely unprofessional location and when i called customer service for help they were of no help either. I will NEVER rent from budget again.

What a terrible experience. I booked online the day before and paid in full for a car. I was waiting outside when they opened and was immediately told I had no chance in getting a car. Not only that, but apparently the owner does not recognize ‘one way trip reservations’ only local travel and return directly to that store. Be warned this location will break it off in you and not hand you a towel when they’re done.

My experience was not the best at all. For starters, when I went to Budget to pick up my rental car there was no one at the front desk. I called the store while I was standing in the front waiting in hopes that perhaps the representative was in the back and could hear the phone ringing. He was actually next door at the barbershop talking instead of being present at the desk. It was a huge inconvenience having to wait 45 minutes for assistance in simply picking up my car that I reserved and prepaid ahead of time. Furthermore, when I dropped the rental car back off, this same gentleman that provided horrible customer service, advised that I needed to vacuum out the car or I’d have to pay $150 cleaning fee. I have never had to vacuum a rental car before dropping it off. There literally was only very little that needed to be vacuumed. It was also raining pretty badly outside, I felt that he could have at least vacuumed the car for me considering how horrible my experience was in the beginning. I will never rent from Budget again. And will let all of my friends and family know the same.
