One of RI's best parks. Strongly recommend going off season as this place gets busy and loud. Sites by the beach have zero privacy. They have full amenities, camp store boat/bike rentals

Beautiful and very large campground, but needs a little work. The showers are old and need remodeling, and were actually discusting to think about showing in. Our neighbors left their garbage out and at was there for 2 days and the rangers never came by to clean it up, so we did. There was also a person asking for help to start their car. The ranger said they could help, then they never returned to help her, so we did that too. I know they are likely down on help, but they should really focus on remodeling some of the bathrooms. Otherwise the place is huge, beautiful, and has a swimming area, store, dump stations, and no hookups at the sites. They allow generator use, so it was great for a few days away. We would recommend this campground, but be prepared to clean up the trash from the visitors before you.

Went with my GF for our 4 yr anniversary! Worth the drive from Western CT, staff was extremely friendly upon our after-dark visit, and the store and amenities at the park were unmatched. As someone who has camped my whole life, I was puzzled as to how I had never been there before.

Cabins are small. Small covered deck at the front entrance facing the lake. They are pet friendly bit very basic...sleeping bags are a must because the bunks are a random size that do not fit an air mattress
Make a reservation online for about $8.00, this is good to get a site you want; Or, go as a walk-in and just pay for a site that's available. There are several different sites to choose from. Enjoy!

No, what I do is purchase a small inverter that connect to your car battery or 9v outlet in your car. I use this the charge phones and blow up the air mattress
