I think the Dr.'s are amazing I am giving it 3 stars because of the billing department, it is the billing department that is a complete mess. I over paid by 100.00 on my first visit, I said keep the money on the books for the next visit no need to refund it. Bad mistake should have refunded it. I have spent so many calls and going into the office asking them why they would send me a bill for a balance when I overpaid and they said oh I made that mistake we will correct it you owe us nothing. Fast forward six months to my next appointment as I am exiting I asked do you see a credit on the books she says no but you don't owe anything. 4 days later I get a bill for 130.00 no mention of my 100.00 credit now I have to spend my morning calling CAROL and asking why again am I spending my time picking up after your mistakes. My bill should have been less the 100.00 credit for a small balance of 30.00 but no they billed me the whole visit. It's beyond frustrating I can only imaging how much money they have on the books that is not theirs. Luckily I keep all of my paperwork and notes on every conversation and times and discussions we have had, without this I would be in trouble. Lesson learned never let the Dr's office hold onto your money thinking they will do the right thing. REFUND is the only option!

I have had problems with having post nasal drip and a runny nose for many years. I saw Mercado and he preformed the Clarifix procedure just over 2 weeks ago. I can see a huge improvement already, and find breathing much easier when i go walking. I am very glad I had this done, and Mercado was great.

I had not been able to taste my food or smell for way too many months (not covid related). I was breathing clearly and I wasn't having congestion. Made an appointment to see if anything was going on that I didn't expect. Jose Mercado took one look and said I had a chronic bilateral sinus infection. He prescribed steroids, antibiotics, nasal wash and nasal spray. In two days I was able to smell the jasmine that was blooming and my taste buds were starting to bloom again. I just finished seeing Jose and he said I was clear from any infection. I'm very happy to smell and taste again. He said if chronic sinus infections aren't treated quickly enough, that it could result in permanent damage to the nerves.

I've been a patient for some time. Staff is efficient and courteous. Dr. Grayson is a gem. Having worked as a P.A. for 35 + years I can speak with some authority as to the competency of the Dr. and support staff. I have only seen Dr. Grayson so I am not in a position to comment on the other docs in the practice. Truth be told my only issue is at times there is a protracted wait time on the phone. A small price to pay for truly top notch care.

That part of customer service is lacking and really should be a priority ,especially being a medical practice. But overall I appreciate Dr. J. and other customer service is good. 🙂

The cost will depend on your insurance, though Ken is correct, usually Family Doctor co-pays are lower than those for Specialists. The services are not the same, though; we use a microscope and specialized ear instruments to remove the wax, while a family care doctor will generally use warm water to 'wash' it out. Our method tends to be more thorough.

We do treat tinnitus, and are very qualified to do so. We do not, however, have an "ear specialist" like an otologist or neuro-otologist. If you want that level of specialization, we recommended Dr. Antonelli at Shands in Gainesville or Dr. Loren Bartels in Tampa.
I would go see a gastroenterologist and ear nose and throat specialist. Did they test your heart at the hospital? You may need to see a heart doctor, too.
