I'm a 64-year-old retiree that has been a patient at Norristown family physicians for about a year and a half. I've never had a problem and I actually go out of my way to come to this practice since I've moved but after todays visit to refill a prescription dealing with Dr Kimberly Duffy I will not be coming back and she made it clear that she couldn't care less that this practice was losing a patient. She has a terrible bedside manner and showed no empathy at all for the discomfort I was in. She insisted I take a drug test to refill a prescription that I've never needed to do before even though the practice filled it three times prior stating the other doctor that treated me did not follow protocol and she was not going to risk losing her license. I've never in my life experienced such a impersonable encounter with a physician before. She didn't seem to care all about my anxiety or terrible back pain that I have due to arthritis to my spine and did not offer whatsoever an alternative medication or treatment. Needless to say they lost a patient.

Dr. Christopher Drumm is by far the best doctor I have EVER had the pleasure of being a patient of. His bed side is not only extremely professional and attentive but he truly treats patients as HUMANS and not just an insurance claim to be submitted for. He gives you every single possible option for treatment/or care, when acceptable, as well easing any worries. HE LISTENS! TRULY LISTENS. This is sooo hard to find anymore. I will forever be a faithful patient to Dr. Drumm!

I had the absolute worst experience with a doctor here. I saw Dr Ali for general questions and concerns about my health and considering starting new medications. He was completely dismissive, he cut our visit short, spoke down to me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about and specifically said to me “I’m not here to go through all these little things” as if that’s not exactly what his job is. I will never ever recommend him to anyone. He has a great first impression, but the second visit was so traumatic and uncomfortable that I fought back tears the entire time I was there and now need to see my therapist again to process this. Dr Calamia is a good doctor and a kind person and I’d recommend you see him versus Ali. Ali has 0 compassion or empathy for his patients.

I never experienced such non compassionate staff. They had no remorse for a patient who needed to be seen. I witnessed the receptionist try to justify her rudeness and her unwillingness to help the patient. Just disgraceful. The Dr.Calamia is great. The front desk staff have no empathy for patients. i really want to give no stars :(
