Horrible place! Don't go here. Zero stars! Staff is the worst. A guy had a seizure and they manhandled him onto a stretcher after he fell and hit his head and complained of back pain. There's no real treatment done there. Upon discharge I was rushed out the door on a Sunday morning. The building is so old , they are cosmetically making it look newer but underneath it's ancient. I saw patients hit others with canes and be allowed to stay. Bottom line. It's the worst I've ever seen. Food is terrible. Don't go there , and please don't send your loved ones here.

Was there in 2018, great facility to get what you need if you are ready to get clean. Great staff, plenty of stuff to do so you do Not get bored. I highly Recommend Valley Forge to anyone that wants to get sober !!!

Its a shame how these places that are suppose to be professional for jobs requiring master degrees or higher. I had several interviews canceled due to scheduling conflicts with them. Finally I had an interview and it seemed disorganized but I went through with it anyway. I asked several times if I am not a candidate please let me know. I was told by several persons that they always contact candidates either way. They were not the only job I applied to so if they choose someone it would be fine. I never received a call, email, text or smoke signal concerning if they chosen another candidate or not. I emailed them to get an update and crickets. I never heard anything back. I am truly glad I did not get the job due to the poor ratings I seen on various search engines. I did not want to work for a company who lacks basis communication skills! No matter if you are a nurse, tech, or clinician run!

Yea, almost every rehab/detox has banned smoking at this point which truly makes no sense. It is asinine, that is all people have left when they kick. I was at Valley Forge when you could smoke like 20 years ago and it was fine. If I recall, the food was good.
No not a problem but th e clonopin can get a little rough. Make sure you are under a Dr. Care. PS Hang in there its doable
If there's a bed available, people in the admissions department will work with your insurance company to get you some treatment. Many clients come in with welfare insurance. Clients are either detoxing from drug/alcohol abuse or are looking for longer term rehabilitation from the disease or both. Often, the treatment you receive is contingent upon what you're insurance will pay. Sometimes the admissions specialists are able to acquire county funding for you if you have nothing else and it is available. I really like working here and it is, in my opinion, an excellent program and facility to begin or continue your recovery journey.
Yes do u have medicad
No cell phones but there are phones for patients
Please call Admissions to discuss your need. 610-539-8500
Please call first 610-539-8500. It will make your admission go so much easier when you speak to an intake coordinator who can answer your questions and guide you thru getting treatment.
Hi Colleen, We know how tenuous it is to enter a program to end substance abuse. And the many fears that an individual has when accepting help. We are Tobacco Free as of 12/31/18, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get into Recovery. We are finding that nicotine replacement therapies are helping with withdrawal management better than having someone smoke and try to detox from their substance of choice. Smoking refires the pathway in the brain that the addiction they are trying to end has been triggering. With help, counseling and the patch patients are finding the withdrawal process much easier. Against popular beliefs, stopping smoking at time of treatment helps give a better chance at long term time in recovery. Please call admissions if you have concerns.
Spill the teaaaa. Puleaseee.
Vivitrol is an option at Valley Forge Medical Center. Your health insurance would pick up the cost, or explore options with your counselor.
Hi Georgette, please call in and let Admissions know your situation. They will work with you and your copay responsibility. It is best to call before coming to assure there is a bed available and we can work with your insurance provider.
Each individual is evaluated at admission. Depending on length of use and amount of daily use the taper will be determined for the most comfortable stabilization to start Recovery.
Call now it is about 8 am on thursday may 10
Ok what number should I call exactly
Thank you for your question. Today there aren't enough beds available for the demand in SE PA. We typically have several dozens requests a day for admission to our program. We have found that a daily check in for a bed allows us to provide a bed to an individual ready to enter recovery. We can't call back all inquiries because so many variables play into coming in for treatment. Stay motivated and you will successfully find your path to lasting recovery.
Thank you for your question. Librium is generally used for weaning for. Benzodiazepines. We ask that you bring all Prescribed medications..
