Beautiful views and the roads and drive up were great. This is a must see in Arkansas!

Great views and great place to visit

Magazine mountain was beautiful and HOT. I would suggest starting earlier or later in the day. There are multiple ways up to the summit, its kind of underwhelming compared to some of the peaks we have been on, you cant see anything more than trees. The summit has a lot of little features that make it worth it. The drive up is stunning

Pretty nice free state park in Arkansas. Some great views on the northern side, but the summit is rather boring and uneventful. Short hike takes you to the top, is unpleasant after a heavy rain because of mud. However, the park is still a great place to hike and explore nature.

In the fall. Thought that would be obvious. Okay, kidding. Honestly, it's usually mid October to mid November. The weather changes a lot down here in the South, Fall isn't as reliable as it is in places like New England. But the time frame I gave you is a pretty good bet.
Yes; There is a hotel, very nice that is at the top.
Skycrest restaurant is located at Mount Magazine State park their hours show 7 am to 9 pm but you could call the Park and ask 479-963-8502 https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/mount-magazine-state-park/skycrest-restaurant
Signal Hill is the trail to the top of Mt Magazine (the highest point in Arkansas). It is a two hour hike. There is also the Mt Magazine Lodge and a Visitor Center. See www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/mount-magazine-state-park for more information.
Yes. It is inside the lodge and looks great
Yes, There is a gift shop in the Hotel. Also if you visit the park in the information centers is bathrooms and gift shops
The views are pretty but we lack in trout fishing, I'd look around the White River area!
No to enter the park it's free
The leaves have already peaked, they weren't as colorful as they usually are do to the weather but they are bare for the most part now
The wax museum is in Hot Springs about 79 miles from Mount Magazine.
Yes, they have camping sites.
No playgrounds, but my kids (6-12) had a blast hiking, the scenic overlooks, and the guest center with a small educational museum. Note, we hiked from the lodge to the peak and then out to the overlooks. Also, we did not camp (or stay in the lodge or cabins) since we were just there for the day. You can get to the scenic overlook and the guest center by driving or hiking. Some kids or smaller children (or even adults) who aren't good with hiking may not enjoy the trails.
I would check with the visitors center. I think there is a fee.
Cass Lake lies in the shadow of Magazine Mountain and offers fishing and camping.
We were there a week ago but did not see any.
Right now and thru November is amazing to take a drive or take a motorcycle ride! Camping also
