Lots of people around but if you don't mind that it's enjoyable. Electric outlets, drinkable water, showers available. Bathroom cleanliness was good enough for me.

Great dog friendly beach. Our family enjoyed being able to anchor our boat and then swim all within a short distance.

Words cannot accurately describe this beautiful place. Waters the color of the Caribbean, great camping, hiking and a gorgeous lake... you'll never want to leave. Just be sure to choose a site on South side of the lake, the North side is ok but only one restroom/shower up a hill and nowhere near the camp store.

Sooooo beautiful. Clear water (one of the clearer lakes I’ve been in Míchigan) and wonderful areas to relax for a while. There were some kind of pest caterpillars on the trees which fall over everything (also your belongings) but the place is fantastic and it’s worthy. Nice toilets and barbecue areas. Small but clean Sandy (beach) to enjoy.

Theres no hookups
Very family friendly. It's a state park so it is not a weekend frat party. Camp hosts and DNR keep things pretty chill.
Unknown, check the state park web site.
No full hook ups. Electricity at all sites, water at some. Check the MI DNR reservations site for accurate listings for each individual site. :)
No ORVs are allowed to be driven in the park. There are trails nearby.
No, not even close yet. I'd expect it should be in two or three more weeks if cold temperatures continue.
Yes
Not that I have herd, we have been in the water and not issues.
No they do not.
Yes there are a couple
There is lots of spots to party you won't have a problem
You can rent them at the park, right beside the food court.. checked with them 2 weeks ago..
Yes, it's all the way to the end of the day parking lot. East end.
There are some sites that have more separation than others. But none that I would call secluded. Check google earth for the sites.
The only SxS allowed are Michigan LICENSED Assembled Vehicles which are governed by the same highway laws as legal automobiles in Michigan, except they are not permitted on Interstate Highways. I don't think Unlicensed SxS are permitted in any Michigan State Park. I may be wrong but I haven't seen any SxS without a Michigan license plate on them.
There are to many options to list but if you go to shorelinevisitorsguide.com you can see all the rates.
There are showers yes, they are available for free for people who are staying at the park.
No. Docks are for launch and retrieve only.
$25 per night. You will need the michigan park passport for that price.
Or you can purchase a sticker for $10.
Yes there is and it has a side walk to walk to it they have bathrooms and showers.
Yes
No, there are NO sewer hookups, water must be from the sanitation station
Yes, there is a play ground
Don't ask Google...go to the DNR website and pick the site and dates... the price will show up... If you don't like the price.... there is motels and cabins all around the lake.
They have cabins winter time aping to fall the cabins are at north end.
Every amenity is closed for the season... plowed roads are minimal.... just get on a plane and go to Florida.
North Higgins has a new paved trail that is a couple .iles long, but also just across from the park is a dirt fitness trail that has hills and turns that make a great location to bike
