OSD in Nashville has been one the best known and recommended Veteran outreach programs in Middle Tennessee... whether I was volunteering for them or even needing any of the services they offered or assisted with... Top Notch not only that... they are expanding more locations as we speak... FYI if you are feeling charitable or need to donate or volunteer your services... please don't forget about them... Oh yeah... now I'm bout to put the spot light on a earlier review I read that made me cringe.... you know what Tony Brown... Im not even going to give you that kind of shine... You should have just been better at understanding personality types and traits...and became a better trainer and leader... your first sentence let's me know your limited in your skills and probably could benefit from MANY of the same services that OSD offers that even the state offers the same services as well on life skills that you seem to not have aquired or mastered... which I will ask the universe to help you to be more humble and put beautiful karma out in the universe and leave that negative energy out in the middle of nowhere... to never be found... on second thought🤔🤔🤔💭💭💭 sounds like a disgruntled civilian who had there position taken by a Veteran who walked in day one.... saying to themselves that they were coming for your position... two things here though.... that means you got promoted and he earned it out right to feel position you once held or he was just that dang good that he still earned it and put your butt on the bence or your new title was now Customer...😉😉😉 FYI GOOGLE....Shame on you for allowing just any damn fool such as this unknowledgeable, uneducated, and ungrateful negative ball of energy known as Tony Brown(sounds plastic) contribute to anything that has your companies name on it... btw Tony Brown.... send me a link to apply for your company... I'm coming for your position... #IKNWUCMEWATCHING #IMURHUCKLEBERRY

These people ask irrelevant information for someone just asking help to make a move to a less expensive area. Seems illegal.

OSD receives a pot of money from the VA they are not the VA private company started out helping vets and maybe they do but it’s changed just in 3 yrs ive been around they helped me originally now it’s about corporate money and the board of directors… then the vets.

Spoke with lady on phone about hotel voucher, and was told I had to come in. When I arrived they told me they didn't have funding for vouchers. Why wasn't I told that over phone? Oh, because you want to waste my time and little money I have. Thanks

WE WERE IN THE PARADE IN 2015 AND 2016 RIDING ON A TRAILER FOR THE VETERANS OF THE PROGRAM AND WE WERE GIVEN FREE UNDER ARMOUR WOUNDED WARRIOR JACKETS. HATS, SHIRTS AND ALL DIFFERENT THINGS. UNTIL THEY RUN OUT OF THE EXPENSIVE STUFF. BUT IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF PRIVILEGE TO BE IN THAT AS A HOMELESS PROGRAM VETERAN AND I WAS PROUD OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN OSDTN. I WISH EVERY CITY HAD ACCESS TO THIS. ONLY 7 NATIONALLY AND 2 ARE NASHVILLE AND CLARKSVILLE. TN. HOPEFULLY THAT IS MORE OF THEM NOW. THAT WAS 2016, THEY HAD SAVED ME FROM HOMELESSNESS AND HELPLESSNESS TO MY APT LIFE AGAIN. HAND UP NOT A HAND OUT. THEY ARE EVERYTHING YOU NEED AS A VETERAN.
You need to go seek help at the VA hospital in Nashville. They built a new facility in front of the hospital to assist you.
Yes, have the veteran give them a call and set up an appointment and they can help with VA services.
Right on!!! Blessed from all their help!!
Go in at 8 am Monday with dd214
Suppose ya can call them and they may give you the information
Yes there is. Stop by cause it's twice a month I think.
Yes there is transitional housing for veterans plus assistance with deposits when you find a place you do have to do an intake at the front desk so bring your dd214 state Id ss card and va Id and expect to take at least an hour and a half maybe more but there are so many resources available here and if we dont do it we have other community resources to send you to
OSD has a thrift store at their location. The money helps veterans directly. :)
At the VA. THEY OFFER THEM EVERY DAY IN THE PHARMACY
There are two offices, one in Clarksville and the other in Nashville.
Just show up to OSD with your paperwork you don't need to go to the VA first. When you come in with your dd214 they'll give you an interview add you to there list and call you when a beer comes available
No appointment is needed and yes someone will be there to unload any donations.
