I tried to get them to take a stray and they said they were full and I would be violating the law if I brought them this stray animal and dropped it off to them... lady was rude and said she would have me charged with animal abandonment if I did it.... it wasn't even my animal.... 4 days later I saw the animal had been run over.... good job humane society!!!!

They are rude (krista). I tried adopting a puppy and was treated badly. Krista was rude to the point of hanging up on my husband. Not a good place I. .

Would give 0 stars if I could. The staff (Krista) is rude and refused to help my friends grandparents because they couldn’t find the vaccine paperwork for their cat so they asked to get the vaccine so they could adopt and she refused to let them. They just lost their dog after 17 years and she laughed at them when they were trying to explain how heart broken they were. Do not recommend. I feel sorry for the animals in their care.

Tried to adopt one of the older cats. I have 3 other cats all indoors and never been outside. I was told they have to be updated on vaccinations. I asked which vaccinations. They gave me the run around saying "well check with your vet as to which ones. I only take them to the vet if they are sick and they never have been in the 10 years I have been here. I was actually willing to get them vaccinated so I could adopt one of those older cats, but that is 3 vet visits @ 59 each, shots are $30 each. Also my vet could not get me in sooner than JULY 12th!!! There are several shots that cats could get.....Give me a break and just tell me what EXACTLY is needed. I do not need to pay for shots that are not needed for INDOOR cats. I also got a lecture about "thats what you have to do for pet ownership". That was just dang rude. I do not want cute baby kitties. I wanted older cats that nobody else usually wants.
